I always feel a sense of achievement when I finish a product, with so many new launches on the market it is so easy to get caught up in the excitement and forget what I already have (I hold up my hands I am guilty of this!) I have finished recently some skincare and makeup (yeeeesss!) There is a rose gold packaging theme here which is completely coincidental! what will I repurchase? Let me share with you!
Let’s start with skincare and with one of my absolute favourites the Bareminerals Skinlongevity Vital Power Serum, this is my fourth bottle and my next one is ready and waiting to be opened! I use this morning and evening before moisturising, it leaves my skin feeling so soft with a lit from within glow. It is anti-aging and with continual use it has evened my skin tone. It smells beautiful and has a wonderful cooling effect when applied on my skin. This is one of my staples in my skincare routine. (rrp £48.00 50ml, £34.00 30ml)
Continuing with Bareminerals my second skincare empty is the Skinlongevity Eye Gel Cream. This was my first try of this little pot of goodness, a lovely hydrating and refreshing eye gel which absorbed easily into the skin, a gentle pick me up on tired mornings! My fine lines around my eyes reduced slightly with continual use and as a little goes a long way this lovely little pot has lasted me a good eight months. I have not repurchased as I have other eye creams patiently awaiting use in my drawer, however I will come back to this in the future. (rrp £24.00)
Moving on to makeup and I have three empties all from Charlotte Tilbury. Let’s start with Light Wonder Foundation. This has been a real go to of mine perfect for a natural dewy healthy look. It is light coverage which I prefer for everyday and leaves a beautiful smooth finish. I apply using a brush or my fingers and get a great finish either way, it’s a quick and easy foundation to blend which I certainly benefit from running around in the morning with two little ones. I have my next bottle ready to opened! (rrp £34.00)
Wonderglow surprised me, an illuminating face primer I didn’t expect to enjoy it as much as I did. It worked beautifully as a smooth base for all of my foundations and gave my skin a pretty light glow. I often in the summer would wear this alone on my skin for a light luminescence and evening of my skin tone. This has lasted since Christmas with daily use, a little goes a long way. I really liked the finish from Wonderglow, however I have a large collection of primers to use and will not be repurchasing on this occasion. (rrp £39.00)
Last but by no means least is the Magic Away full coverage concealer. This did wonders for my dark circles and was not drying under my eyes, it left a smooth light finish and felt comfortable on the skin. I would often also use this to cover up redness around my nose using the sponge applicator to get to the hard to reach places. I really like the finish and formula of this concealer however I did find the product did not dispense evenly on some occasions on the sponge applicator, although it did improve with further use it was frustrating to begin with. I have another waiting to be opened which was a gift for my recent birthday (someone looked at what I was running low on!). (rrp £24.00)
