Do you find sometimes the products you enjoy the most are the ones you add to your basket last minute? Or in my case before my sleeping baby wakes up! A month ago I needed a new cleanser and picked up the Fresh Soy Face Cleanser, I have been curious for some time about Fresh skincare however I had not considered their Soy Cleanser as I am always drawn to the gorgeous textures of their face masks!

I never skip cleansing, there are a few steps in my skincare routine I give a miss when pushed for time (or being pulled away by my toddler!) but cleansing is always a must! I have tried many over the years and have become quite picky about what I like to use on my skin!.
The Soy Face Cleanser comes packaged in a white tube. It has a fluid gel consistency which is colourless and dispenses nice and easily through squeezing the tube. This cleanser promises to:
- Remove all makeup (including mascara!)
- Soothe the skin
- Tone the skin
- Will not dry out the skin

This has a refreshing scent which I find quite subtle, it reminds me of cucumber and I find it a lovely comfort to start the day. If you are sensitive to smell I would recommend testing first in store if possible as scent is such a personal preference. There are some great ingredients in this cleanser:
- Amino acid-rich soy proteins – to help skin elasticity.
- Calming cucumber extract – to soothe the skin
- Rosewater – to calm and balance the skin
- Borage seed oil – to nourish and soften the skin
I find a little of this cleanser goes a long way and a small pea sized amount is more than sufficient for cleansing my face. Once massaged onto wet skin the gel changes to a milky white consistency which foams ever so slightly – you will not be covered in bubbles! It feels lightweight once applied and massages into my skin easily. I wear light makeup during the day which the Soy Face Cleanser melts away and even removes my eye makeup!

My skin feels so clean after use, although it is lightweight it really does give my skin a deep cleanse. It is a gentle formula causing no irritation, I admit I was dubious about using it in around my eye area as they are so sensitive but I need not have worried. My skin has not dried out which I have experienced in the past from other cleansers, it is left feeling soft and silky after use. My skin feels revitalised and fresh (excuse the pun!) and through continual use it is looking much more healthier. I use this cleanser morning and evening and will continue to do so for a gentle treatment now the colder weather is affecting my skin.

I am really pleased with how the Soy Face Cleanser is working on my skin, a purchase on a whim has worked out for me! This cleanser is suitable for all skin types and is so gentle my sensitive skin is thanking me for it!
Fresh Soy Faced Cleanser (50ml – £11.50/150ml – £30.00) is available from Fresh, CultBeauty and SpaceNK.
