I have always loved my Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk eyeshadow quad, light and delicate pinks which are flattering and easy to wear. When I saw the newly released Pillow Talk Instant Eye Palette I was drawn in, yes I was weak and had to try it! A selection of four looks with twelve new shades it is my sweet shop fix! I hoped it would be as wearable and I would love it as much as my quad.

The Pillow Talk Instant Eye Palette comes in the the luxe rose gold packaging Charlotte Tilbury is known for with a full sized mirror for easy application. I love that the boxed packaging is pink and have seen the new collection will be packaged in pink giving the line its own identity, I can’t get enough pink in a house full of boys!

There is a good balance of metallics and mattes in the palette with more matte shades than which I love! A beautiful colour story of beautiful pink, champagne and berry pink tones which can be applied softly or built up to create some intense and dramatic looks.

What I love about the Instant Palette is that the guess work done for us, four buildable looks have been put together – Day, Desk, Date and Dream with the three shades in each look complementing each other perfectly. I have been enjoying Day and Desk especially as these are perfect for my preferred daytime look. Although the looks are put together all the shades compliment each other and I have been enjoying experimenting with different looks.

The formula is extremely pigmented and blends easily and quickly feeling wonderfully creamy and soft. It feels comfortable to wear on my sensitive eyes and stays in place all day, I have not experienced any creasing or fading. There is a slight fallout from the metallic shades but nothing excessive that bothers me. It removes easily at the end of the day with my makeup remover which is great as I hate battling to remove makeup when I just want to get to bed!

I love the versatility of the palette and know I will reach regularly for it to create beautiful soft and flattering looks. I love the finish I can easily achieve without having to worry about topping up through the day and it has happily taken up residence next to my beloved Pillow Talk quad!

The Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Instant Eye Palette (£60.00) is limited edition and available at Charlotte Tilbury, Cult Beauty*, Selfridges* and retail stockists.

These are such pretty shades! Did you notice any difference in the formula? I heard they’re changing their shadow formula and I’m not a massive fan of the original one so I’m curious! x

I have The Rebel palette aLao and the formula has changed, it is much more emollient and pigmented but still blends and wears extremely well. I need very little shadow to get a good colour pay off which I am really pleased with. What do you not enjoy about the original formula? The pop shades are metallic which I am getting used to as opposed to a shimmer, I love my shimmers!

wow this is beyond pretty – I recently saw Tati use this palette in her video with Charlotte Tilbury. Such a perfect pink palette. I’m so tempted by the Pillow Talk Eyeliner and the original quad, but I may need to add this to my list, too!

This palette looks absolutely gorgeous! Just like all of Charlotte Tilburys. I am actually yet to treat myself to a palette or any eye products but I’ve loved all of the lip products I’ve tried. I would love to get a full face of CT products at some point, hoping to save up and treat myself at some point this year!

I am a huge fan of eyeshadow and palettes and this is so beautiful, the shades look lovely and the box, I love the packaging! I know that may seem odd but I love my Anastasia Norvina palette because of the Velvet feel, so when a plaette looks good it also makes it so much more appealing, got this on my payday list for this month! Thank you for the post!

Thank you for reading, the texture of a palette makes such a difference doesn’t it. ABH are beautiful shadows and I love when the texture feels buttery and applies seamlessly. Let me know if you do try it!
