IT Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC+ Cream Review

If you are a regular reader of my blog you will know I am not often a full coverage fan, I like my skin to look like my skin but better from my makeup and shy away from full coverage. I have however always been intrigued by IT Cosmetics CC+ Cream which I was recently gifted to review. A full coverage cream so many of my friends have used and I have always read positive reviews about. I have been reaching for slightly more coverage these colder months for some added skin protection and had high expectations!

IT Cosmetics CC+ Cream in shade Fair/Light

The CC+ cream comes in a silver tube with a pump dispenser which I always prefer. It claims to have many benefits for the skin including:

  • Hydrating the skin
  • Colour correcting and brightening
  • Full coverage
  • SPF50
  • Anti-aging
  • Reduce the appearance of pores
  • Reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles

A real multitasking product which is just up my street! The formula has a thick consistency and I admit I was dubious that the recommended one/two pumps would be sufficient! I needn’t have worried as a little certainly goes a long way and blends easily. I find one pump gives me a medium coverage and two pumps a full coverage.

The coverage is fantastic, I feel as though I have put a filter on my face! my skin appears smoother and my pores are blurred. My redness is covered and I require very little concealer after use, just the dreaded under eye bags need a little bit more help! I am really pleased with the finish, my skin but better. It isn’t too matte nor too dewy it looks as though I have an extra layer of healthy looking skin, perfect for me!

I love how easily it is to build coverage I can apply more as and where needed based on how my skin is behaving that day (not very well currently!). It feels hydrating on my skin and doesn’t settle in my dry areas which is one of the main problems I am experiencing with foundations currently. It is lightweight and comfortable to wear and stays in place all day, I have rarely set it as it makes very little difference it has great staying power!

Before and after using IT Cosmetics CC+ Cream

I have not stopped using the CC+ Cream since I received it, it is a keeper! I will be purchasing a replacement once finished. I am really impressed with the coverage and skin benefits and will be continuing to use it.

There are three CC+ Creams available (£31.00) Original (SPF50), Matte (SPF40) and Illuminating (SPF50) All are available from IT Cosmetics, Boots and retail stockists.

  2. I’ve wanted to try this for years and it sounds like something I’d absolutely love but all foundations/ tinted moisturisers with SPF give me a rash so unfortunately this one is a no go for me which is such a shame x
