Suns out, Suncream on! Delph Suncare Review

We have been so fortunate with the weather recently, beautiful blue skies and beaming sunshine Spring is truly here! Sun protection is an essential part of the daily routine for myself and the family. I was kindly gifted Delph Sun Lotion SPF 30 and After Sun Gel – perfect timing!

The Delph Sun Lotion and After Sun Gel come packaged in 150ml tubes, the packaging is bright and bold making it easy to find in my summer bag! It is lightweight making it perfect when out and about.

Delph Sun Lotion protects the skin against UVA and UVB radiation, essential for myself and the family. My skin has always been sensitive with suncream and I have suffered reactions in the past. Delph is a lovely gentle lotion which absorbs easily and quickly into the skin, my skin is able to breathe with its light formula and I have experienced no reactions at all. It has a medium consistency, it isn’t too thick that it is a battle to apply nor too thin that it runs on application. It leaves my skin feeling lovely and soft without being greasy or tacky to touch. It has a light citrus scent which I find refreshing, it doesn’t linger and reminds me of the Caribbean (I can dream!).

I have a very fussy three year old who naturally has no interest in sun protection when he can see his slide waiting outside for him! He will often have a ‘moment’ when I apply sun protection complaining it is uncomfortable and sticky. He enjoys Delph and will apply it himself (with a little assistance) now requesting his yellow tube before we venture out to play. He has sensitive skin and suffers from eczema, Delph has caused him no irritation which I am extremely pleased (relieved!) about.

Family friendly!

The After Sun Gel contains Aloe Vera and Vitamin E, I love the scent of aloe vera which is light and subtle. The gel instantly cools and soothes my skin, it is a light consistency which absorbs quickly without feeling sticky. It is hydrating adding some much needed moisture back into my skin leaving it smooth and soft. It is a gentle formula causing no irritation to mine or my little ones skin – an all round win!

Soothing Delph Aloe Vera Gael

Delph are cruelty free and vegan friendly. I am really impressed with their gentle family friendly suncare line which is reasonably priced (fantastic!) and will be continuing to use it throughout the summer.

Delph Sun Lotion (SPF 15/30/50) and After Sun Gel (priced from £3.49) are available from Weldricks.

  1. That sounds like a great sunscreen! I put all natural stuff on my kids and it does the job but I hate how it feels. I prefer to cover up and stay in the shade!

    1. My eldest reacted to natural suncare that we tried which was a shame, this absorbs so quickly it has removed the battle! We are shade lovers too and avoid it during the peak heat too much for us all! Thank you for reading! I hope it’s not too hot where you are
