If you look back over my posts I am sure the words dewy, glow and natural must be mentioned numerous times! I love a healthy natural finish (yes I said it again!) and a product that works quickly in my limited time frame between painting and clearing up weetabix is a must! Ciaté London recently released their Dewy Blush collection created in collaboration with Patrick Ta, it had the word dewy in it what can I say….it called to me!
The Ciaté London Dewy Blush comes packaged in a tube, the packaging is vibrant, colourful and fun! There are four shades in the collection:
- Coconut – bronze/nude
- Watermelon – fuschia
- Papaya – peach/pink
- Pomegranate – berry
I picked Watermelon (the line from Dirty Dancing- I carried a Watermelon always springs to mind!) A fuschia pink shade.
The formula is a gel-balm consistency which is extremely lightweight. It contains natural extracts of Yuzu which is packed with vitamin C and a great antioxidant to add some radiance to your skin and Dragon Fruit for luminosity and moisture. The fruit extracts give the Dewy Blush a subtle fruity scent which reminds me of holidays!
When I swatched Watermelon my initial thoughts were wow and oops! It is so pigmented and vibrant I honestly did not think it was the right shade for my fair/light skin and thought I must stop shopping when I am tired!
I need not have worried as the Dewy Blushes have been formulated to provide a tinted finish. Once applied it became a second skin giving me a hint of colour and a radiant finish. It leaves a lovely natural dewy look, a hint of glow without looking overwhelming.
The formula is easy to apply, I find two drops per cheek is perfect for me. It has been designed to be applied with your fingers, I pop two drops on my cheek and blend it up my cheekbones to lift my complexion. It is easy and quick to apply, perfect when short of time! The formula blends effortlessly and quickly giving a beautiful luminous appearance without leaving a sticky finish once dried down. It is hydrating and does not emphasise my dry patches which is a big plus for me!
The Dewy Blush ticks all my boxes- quick and easy leaving my complexion looking healthy with a natural luminous finish. I find I reach for less makeup when I use the Dewy Blush, it is perfect for an everyday healthy glow!
Ciaté London are cruelty free and the Dewy Blush is vegan friendly!
