I am making a conscious effort to use up my half empty products, I hate waste and am getting a bit of space back on my shelf! I do enjoy seeing empties and learning what people loved or felt did not reach their expectations. Here are some of my recent empties and what made the cut to be repurchased in my collection!
IT Cosmetics Confidence in a Cream Rosy Tone* (£42.00)
IT Cosmetics Confidence in a Cream Rosy Tone is a beautiful rich cream in my favourite colour pink. It has a lovely smooth texture which absorbs beautifully into my skin. It is a great multitasker which I love! it is hydrating and moisturising whilst also gently exfoliating your skin. Through continuous use my skin was smoother, the appearance of my complexion was bright and healthy which I am always a big fan of! The love is real and I am waiting for my new pot to arrive! Full review can be found here.
Charlotte Tilbury Magic Serum Crystal Elixir (£60.00)
I am a big Charlotte Tilbury fan and always have a pot of Magic Cream in my stash! I used the Magic Serum for eleven weeks and was really pleased with the long term results, particularly in the reduction of the appearance of my pores. It is a lovely silky texture and absorbs effortlessly into my skin without feeling sticky leaving my skin soft and smooth. It is hydrating and works well alone or mixed in with my moisturiser. I have not repurchased on this occasion but will use it again in the future. Full review can be found here.
By Terry Cellularose Hydra-Toner (£42.00)
I love the scent of Rose and the By Terry Cellularose Hydra-Toner has a beautiful subtle scent and is a gorgeous pink colour (I’m all about the pink!). It promises to be hydrating and soothing whilst also reducing the appearance of your pores. It is lovely and cooling on the skin once applied, a gentle formula which has caused my skin no irritation and has been pleasant to use. I will not be replacing as I can not justify the price point, although a lovely toner I do not find it to be any more effective at hydrating and minimising my pores than those I have which are at a lower price point. I enjoyed using this toner however for the luxury price tag I expect it to do more!
NYX On the Rise Mascara (£10.00)
Mascara is one of my favourite beauty products and I am getting fussier the older I get! The more I used NYX On The Rise Mascara the more I loved it, the perfect natural lift and enhancer for the daytime. Unlike some mascara that can begin to dry and the quality decrease after some use I always found On the Rise to feel fresh as if I had just opened it. It stays in place all day without smudging or flaking come rain or shine. It is removes easily with my normal remover and ones not irritate my sensitive eyes. I would happily repurchase and use in the future. Full review can be found here.
Bareminerals Skinlongevity Vital Power Fusion Serum (£34.00)
Making its third appearance in my empties! I do love the scent and silky texture of the Bareminerals Skinlongevity Serum serum, it absorbs easily and revitalises my skin instantly. It mixes well with moisturiser when I am in a rush and gives my skin the healthy glow I love and want from my products. On this occasion, for the first time in years I have not repurchased as I have two serums to finish and and am doing my best to use up my existing products. Will I repurchase in the future? Yes I have a lot of love for the Skinlongevity Serum and am sure I will not be without it for long!
