I adore IT Cosmetics CC+ Cream it is a staple in my makeup bag. When IT Cosmetics recently launched their new Your Skin But Better Foundation + Skincare I was intrigued and dubious that it would be able to match my love for the CC+ Cream. If you love IT Cosmetics and CC+ Cream keep reading for my review of the new foundation on the block!

IT Cosmetics Your Skin But Better Foundation + Skincare

Your Skin But Better Foundation + Skincare comes in an impressive 40 shades catering for every undertone, I was so pleased to see how inclusive the shade range is. It comes packaged in a glass bottle which feels luxuriously heavy with a pump dispenser which gives the perfect amount of product for application.

Easy to Use Pump Dispenser

Your Skin But Better Foundation + Skincare Promises to:

  • Instantly brighten and even your complexion
  • A buildable light-medium natural radiant coverage
  • Even your skin tone, minimising the appearance of imperfections
  • Lightweight and long lasting
  • All day hydration
    Suitable for all skin types

Key Ingredients

IT Cosmetics never disappoints with added skin loving ingredients in their makeup formulas, the Your Skin But Better Foundation includes a little bit extra to give your skin some added care and protection:

  • Hyaluronic Acid & Aloe Vera Extract to hydrate and give your skin a smooth appearance
  • Vitamins E & B5 to moisturise and strengthen your skins barrier
  • Hepes Acid to gently exfoliate your skin and leave you with a brighter complexion

Review

I have been using the Your Skin But Better Foundation + Skincare in the shade Light Warm 21 for a month, it gives the most beautiful natural skin like finish, it is neither too dewy nor matte but that perfect in between balance. I love how little product I need to achieve an even light/medium coverage. I find one/ two pumps gives me my preferred finish, disguising but not completely covering those areas I want it to whilst lifting and brightening my complexion. It has a more fluid consistency than the CC+ Cream and blends effortlessly using either a brush or your fingers, whichever you prefer! It is buildable and I find two/three pumps gives me a medium coverage if I want to perk my skin up a bit more!

It is lightweight and easy to forget you are wearing foundation which I love! It lets my skin breathe whilst being long lasting and staying in place all day. It feels nourishing and hydrating on the skin which I appreciate during these cold months. It doesn’t settle into nor emphasis texture or my fine lines and has not transferred onto my clothes which is always a big bonus! it becomes a second layer of skin which I love.

If you are not a fan of heavy coverage and prefer a sheer skin like finish you will love Your Skin But Better Foundation + Skincare, I have not stopped using it and love how effortless it is to apply for a natural every day look. IT Cosmetics offer an online shade match tool to assist in identifying your shade, alternatively you can book a virtual consultation which I recommend as they are so helpful! An absoloute keeper in my makeup bag!
