I often wear a balm under a lipstick, colour with some lipcare and comfort is always a great combination. The new Charlotte Tilbury Blush Balms combine the best of both – the nourishment of a balm with a pretty hint of colour. It has the buttery softness of a balm gliding on smoothly leaving an even colour. It isn’t an intense colour which you would get from a lipstick. However it can be built from a sheer to more pop whilst keeping its natural looking finish. As a result it’s a really easy to wear finish which is perfect for everyday. The finish is soft and flattering on my lips giving them plumper, juicy and dewy look. As expected being a balm its lightweight and incredibly comfortable to wear. My lips feel soft and hydrated all day which is fantastic.

In all honesty I fully expected out of all the shades to pick Pillow Talk. I’m not disappointed though as Blushed Rose is a lovely beautiful pink/red. The colour wears well and settles into more a of a tint on my lips as opposed to a stain. I personally prefer this, stains often be drying and difficult to remove. This is not the case with the Blush Balm. It is a multiuse balm which can also be worn as a blush. Personally I feel it wears better on my lips. Although its great to travel to save space on taking both and leaves a natural hint of colour on my cheeks. A lipstick I keep in my bag for easy touch ups on the go. Hopefully new shades join in the future!

Love Sarah xx
