Pixi Nuance Quartette Palette Review

20 March 2020

Hello Spring! I am longing for some warmer weather now and some natural Vitamin D! When I saw the Pixi Nuance Quartette palette it screamed Spring at me and instantly made me smile! Having only used Pixi skincare in the past I was interested to see how their makeup performed.

Pixi Nuance Quartette Packaging

The Pixi Nuance Quartette comes in the well known Pixi Green packaging and contains a full size mirror which is great for travel and on the go. It contains one bronzer, two blush shades and a highlight. The powder formula contains some skin loving ingredients:

  • Ceramides to moisturise the skin
  • Vitamin E to protect and nourish the skin
  • Green Tea to provide antioxidants
  • Botanical Extracts for hydration
  • Is Paraben and cruelty free
The Pixi Nuance Quartette In Honey Nectar

Two shade options are available, I have Honey Nectar which I felt was a good match for my fair skin. The quad contains the following shades (scroll for swatches):

  • Syrup – A beautiful natural bronzer
  • Nectar – A rosy pink blush
  • Ambrosia – A soft pastel pink blush with a hint of shimmer
  • Honey – A beautiful champagne highlight
Daylight swatches top to bottom – Ambrosia, Syrup, Honey, Nectar

Each shade is highly pigmented and leaves a flawless natural finish – perfect! The colours work in harmony beautifully and complement my fair complexion leaving a soft radiant appearance. These shades will also work well once I start fake tanning as they are buildable and layer to achieve your desired look.

Swatches of Honey Nectar

The formula is super soft to touch, the powders are lovely and creamy blending easily and effortlessly. They are not heavy and are also safe to use on your eyes to create an easy everyday monochrome look, I do love a multitasker anything to help save time is always a bonus! The powders are comfortable to wear and do not cling to my dehydrated areas (thankfully I am not a fan of the patchy look!). My makeup stays in place all day whilst I run around after my little ones and removes easily with my usual remover at the end of the day.

Full sized mirror

I absolutely love this palette it ticks all the boxes and has become my go to making busy mornings nice and easy! I have not put it down for the last month and love how the bright colours cheer me up in the morning. I think it is great value for money, I know I will get so much use out of this quad through Spring and Summer. For my first Pixi makeup product I am really happy with the results and will explore their range some more.

A wonderful review Sarah. I do love Pixi makeup but yet to try out this beautiful quad. The shades are so pretty. It definitely gives me the Spring vibes. I like that the shadea are buildable too so works for all skintones. Beautiful 💟
