Finding the perfect everyday shade has always been a challenge, I remember in my teens (quite some time ago!) the difficulty we all found in finding the perfect nude everyday shade (some colours we loved did not suit us at all but we were loyal to them!). Thankfully there is so much more variety available now. I have always enjoyed Charlotte Tilbury lipsticks they were the first product I purchased from the brand. The Charlotte Tilbury Hot Lips 2 collection launched earlier this year and I was immediately drawn to In Love With Olivia.
In Love With Olivia is a beautiful pink shade which was created in homage to Olivia Palermo (flashback to all the episodes of The City that I used to watch and drive my parents mad with!) It comes in stunning black and rose gold packaging (my kids have taken a real shine to it!) which is refillable with any shade from the collection, such a great incentive! I find the colour is a deep nude pink on me which I love for an easy everyday look, just the right amount of colour to brighten up my day (and face!).
In Love With Olivia is part of the K.I.S.S.I.N.G formula family promising to:
- Moisturise the lips
- Hydrate the lips
- Make the lips appear plumper
The lipstick applies easily to my lips, the formula glides on beautifully and effortlessly. The colour distributed evenly and is buildable should you wish to have a little more pop of colour! I can wear this with or without lip liner it stays in place and does not bleed or appear feathered. It pairs well with the Pillow Talk Lip Cheat from Charlotte Tilbury and I enjoy using this pairing together.
The formula feels moisturising once on my lips which is welcome during these cold months, a nice gentle hug on my lips! It has a lovely creamy satin finish which gives a slight illusion of fuller lips. I find I reapply this lipstick once or twice during the day, it will stay in place for three to four hours before I feel the need to touch up. This does not bother me at all as it gives me a couple of minutes to myself!
In Love With Olivia is currently one of my favourite lipsticks, it is such a flattering colour and goes perfectly with everything. I love the moisturising formula and will be continuing to use it through these colder months for a pop of colour and some much needed TLC.

I treated myself to CT Pillow Talk a while back and was so disappointed that it didn’t suit me 🙁 The formula was lovely but it was a little too beige for me. The shade you’ve chosen is perfect for you though, so maybe I’ll have to revisit CT again this Christmas! Lisa x
