Mascara is personal, however we can all agree we don’t want it running down our faces after a few hours. This where tubing mascaras have come into their own as a trustworthy and truly smudge proof option which won’t let you down. The RUM Wrap Party Mascara launched recently and instantly had my attention. I’ve been using it for month now, keep reading for my review!

When three of the best in the business put their heads together to create a mascara you know it’s going to work well! Sam Chapman, Sali Hughes and Jo Jones put their combined knowledge and frustrations together to create Wrap Party Mascara. Personally having followed them for many years I couldn’t wait to give it a try. It comes in three shades Taxi (black) which I have been wearing, Chic Navy which lives up to its name and new Double Shot, a rich coffee brown.

Tubing mascaras have secured a place in my makeup bag. Gentle on the lashes and almost effortless to remove they give the long wearing guarantee I’m looking for. However finding the finish I want can prove tricky and volume often gets lost along the way. This has not been the case with the Wrap Party mascara, which feels and looks more like a traditional mascara than a tubing mascara which I really enjoy. Lightweight and comfortable the wand easily coats my lashes evenly without clumping which is great. Instantly my lashes are lifted and my eyes look wider which is fantastic.
It is quite a wet formula which I find layers well and adds volume whilst maintaining a natural fluttery finish with my lashes feeling soft to touch. Once set it doesn’t move, no transferring or flaking and my under eyes remain clear which is great. It delivers enough impact for a natural daytime look which can also ne This is one of the easiest tubing mascaras to remove, easily it dissolves with simply warm water which is great is your eyes are sensitive like mine. I have worn the Wrap Mascara on a cold windy day and in the heat of the sun and regardless of the weather it stays put.
