Murad Vita-C Eyes Dark Circle Corrector Review

As someone who has always been conscious of their under eye area and has a best friend in concealer to disguise my tired purple and red discolouration I have tried many various eye creams to help reduce their appearance. Needless to say the Murad Vita-C Eyes Dark Circle Corrector immediately caught my attention!

Murad Vita-C Eyes Dark Circle Corrector

Murad Vita-C Eyes Dark Circle Corrector comes in sleek white opaque packaging, I love that Murad colour code their skincare in line with each range making it clear to identify on my shelf! It has a pump dispenser which is easy to use and hygienic dispensing the perfect amount of product for application . The serum is light gold in colour with a hint of shimmer which feels creamy and lightweight.

What Vita-C Eyes Dark Circle Corrector Promises:

  • To reduce the appearance of a variety of dark circles around the eyes including blue/purple, red and brown discolouration in as little as two weeks.
  • Instantly brightens your under eye
  • Soothe and de-puff your under eye
  • Suitable for all skin types

I love Vitamin C in my skincare and the unique Vita-C Complex, a combination of two types of Vitamin C and glutathione for its anti-oxidant properties to create a potent protective and brightening formula sounded very promising! The key ingredients include:

  • Gold-stabilised Vitamin C – high in antioxidants to boost your skins natural defense
  • Red and Brown Algae Extracts – to de-puff and soothe your under eye
  • Cucumber Extract – to hydrate your under-eye and visibly smooth wrinkles
  • Light reflecting micro minerals – instantly brighten your eyrea

Before and After

Before and After using Vita-C Eyes Dark Circle Corrector

This beautiful serum is lightweight and easy to apply, a small amount goes a long way so do go light handed with the pump! It feels smooth and creamy absorbing into my skin easily and has caused no irritation to my sensitive eyes. Immediately it brightens my under eye appearance, a subtle hint of luminosity that makes me look more alert than I am! I have been using the Vita-C Eyes Dark Circle Corrector consistently as part of my AM and PM routine for 12 weeks and after 6 weeks I began to notice a reduction in the appearance of my discolouration – I did let out a small cheer!

Discolouration from our under eyes will not completely disappear through using a product, be it hereditary, tiredness, however it’s appearance can be improved. I am really impressed with the improvement in my under eyes and love that I look considerably less tired (a huge achievement with two little ones that do not sleep!). To be honest I was dubious that I would see any results and was happy with the brightening effect, to see a change was a real success for me. I now use the serum in the morning only and it still is working it’s magic! I am using considerably less concealer which is a significant and welcome change. It has so far lasted three months and is still going although I am almost empty! It is an investment which has paid off!

My wide awake secret!
