Hello Mr Sun! Finally it is British Summer time! It has made me a bit giddy! Season change means a tweak to the old skincare routine and a lighter moisturiser entering the shelf! When the IT Cosmetics Confidence in a Gel Lotion Moisturiser arrived promising intense hydration I put it straight to work!
Packaged in a yellow tube with a pump dispenser, the pump is hygienic and easy to use depositing the perfect amount of gel needed. It is lightweight making it a great option for travel and the pump dispenser will prevent any leakage. The formula is oil free and fragrance free

A quick recap on my skin type – I have normal/combination skin, dehydrated and showing early signs of aging (hey there fine lines!), my skin is tolerant of most ingredients.
I love the smooth lightweight gel consistency which magically transforms into a water-liquid once in contact with my skin, instantly soothing and feeling refreshing. Quick absorbing without leaving a sticky or tacky feeling my skin drinks it up for an immediate hit of hydration. I love how it smoothes and plumps my complexion leaving my skin looking healthy, great for no makeup days or the perfect base for my makeup helping it to glide on seamlessly. Continual use has reduced the dehydrated areas on my skin and my fine lines are reduced thanks to its fabulous plumping effect on my skin, it gives me that healthy glow regular readers know I love!
I have been using Confidence in Gel Lotion for two months and have noticed a huge improvement in my skins hydration, used both morning and evening it gives my skin the moisture it needs whilst feeling lovely and light which is perfect for the warmer months. A gentle formula I have found it non-irritating and being a fragrance free option it is fab for those with sensitive skin. A great option for oily skin types thanks to the oil free formula or for anyone looking for a lighter moisturiser, those with dry skin may not find the formula rich enough and find Confidence in a Cream more effective. I will be honest that out of all the moisturisers in the IT Cosmetics family this was the one I never looked at twice – how wrong was I! A summer staple I have my second bottle ready!
