If you are a regular reader you will know I am hard to please with cleansing balms and remain loyal to the few that reach my high expectations. When the Pamoja Reset Cleansing Balm arrived I was instantly drawn to the gorgeous yellow balm and relaxing scent, keep reading to find more!
About Pamoja Skincare
Pamoja meaning ‘together’ in Swahili is inspired by founder Sarah’s Tanzanian heritage. With a focus on being kind to yourself which is reflected in the thoughtful nature of the collection. Created with the multitasking individual in mind it encourages a simple skincare routine with a focus on well-being . Pamoja are dedicated to nurturing and nourishing our skin with their natural botanical formulas leaving it healthy and glowing. They are also cruelty free and vegan!
The Reset Cleansing Balm comes packaged in a glass jar which pops open to reveal the inviting yellow balm enclosed and releases the beautiful aromatic scent from the essential oils. Once finished the jar can be returned to Pamoja to be reused in return for a reward, I love that more brands have this initiative!

A skin loving natural formula is full of Vitamin E and Omegas for optimum skin benefits, key ingredients include:
- Murumuru and Mango Butter – to soften and soothe your skin, keeping it hydrated and looking healthy
- Organic Carrot CO2 – a powerful antioxidant it will protect your skin from environmental factors whilst improving skin elasticity
- Organic Calendula CO2 – will help and soothe your skin
- Moringa, Sacha Inchi and Safflower Oils – help to support your skin barriers health
- Rosemary, Geranium Chamomile and Lavender essential oils – calm the mind whilst balancing and toning your skin
The Reset Cleansing Balm is a pleasure to use, a treat for the skin and mind its luxurious silky smooth texture melts into my skin instantly soothing and calming. Best used on dry skin for optimum results I look forward to a relaxing moment at the end of the day. A gentle massage into my skin and it dissolves the day and makeup away with ease. Wonderfully lightweight I can feel it nourishing my skin helping to maintain and replenish moisture as opposed to stripping it – an essential now we are in the colder months! It is gentle and has caused no irritation – my skin is tolerant of essential oils, if you are sensitive to essential oils I would recommend a patch test or alternatively a free from essential oils Reset Balm is available on the website!
Gently cleanses and hydrated the skin 
Removing the days grime with ease!
The scent of lavender and geranium from the essential oils soothes my skin whilst calming my mind, a welcome relaxation from the chaos of all the list making going on! It removes easily without leaving a greasy or tacky residue which I really loved. A little goes a long way and my skin is super soft and revitalised after use. It works beautifully as my first cleanse in the evening and in mornings I like to use it as a quick five minute mask to add some much needed hydration back into my skin, the healthy glow is an added bonus! A luxurious and beautiful cleansing balm with a spa at home treatment feel, I honestly could leave it on all day!
