I have tried many mascaras and often find drugstore mascaras can hold their own when competing with high end. The formulas can be just as good if not better at a fraction of the price and Essence are no exception. The wand is lightweight and easy to comb through my lashes coating each one evenly without clumping. Instantly my lashes have a beautiful lift and volume giving me a wide eyed look which is perfect for everyday. It doesn’t set immediately giving enough time to add an extra coat for a more intense finish.
The formula is light and gentle making it comfortable on the lashes and non-irritating. Once dry it has great long lasting wear and doesn’t flake or smudge. If you have oily under eyes you may experience some transfer on application before it sets, a touch of setting powder should prevent this. At such an afforable price I am so impressed with the finish and wear of the Lash Princess Curl and Volume Mascara. It gives my eyes a beautiful wide awake look and beats many high end mascaras I have tried, an easy repurchase for me!
