A good eyeshadow palette is a staple in our makeup bags. With all we need for a beautiful eye in one palette they are a time and space saver. I love a colour story I can work with and want my eyeshadows to be long lasting. The Zoeva Velvet Love Eyeshadow Quads caught my eye (couldn’t resist!). I have been using their makeup brushes for years and was curious to see how their eyeshadow worked. Keep reading to find out more!
The Zoeva Velvet Love Eyeshadow Quads comes in a pretty pink compact. It pops open easily to reveal four shadows and a good sized mirror enclosed. There are eight palettes available, each containing wearable and complimentary shades. From neutral tones to green and purple hues there is something for everyone. Easy to use with a beautiful colour story I love the combination of looks I can create. Silky and buttery these shadows are easy to blend leaving a smooth and even finish. Each shadow is highly pigmented giving a great colour payoff and are easy to build for more impact. The metallic copper brown leaves a beautiful and flattering finish and the shimmers are elegant brightening my eyes and drawing attention for the right reasons. Long wearing they don’t crease or fade and remove easily with my eye makeup remover.
The shades have been curated for the upper two shades for daytime looks and the lower two for more dramatic evening looks. I personally combine them all together, they work in unison and compliment each other perfectly. The shadows produce very little fallout, I can safely do my face before using which I always appreciate. The quad includes all I need for a multitude of eyeshadow looks and will be great for beginners and pros. A great quality eyeshadow palette which can be used all year round, I’ll be exploring more from Zoeva!
