Love a quick and easy eye look that stays put all day? The new Lisa Eldridge Liquid Silk Eyeshadows certainly tick that box. As a lover of her Liquid Lurex eyeshadows I was incredibly excited to see a new matte eyeshadow collection. Keep reading to find out more!

Packaged in an elegant golden tube which feels luxurious the Liquid Silk is showcase through the bottom making it easy to identify your favourite in a line up. The lid holds the doe foot applicator which is a great size. Not too large that it works against you and is slim for precise application and lower lining which is great. If you are familiar with the Liquid Lurex eyeshadows the doe foot is the same. There are five shades in the collection described by Lisa as “nuanced, natural shades for an elevated eye in seconds”. The shades are:

Phoebe – a warm light camel
Irene – a light neutral peachy beige
Ione – cool, mauve grey
Gaia – golden Brown
Thalia – deep rosewood

Silky by name and by texture the Liquid Silk is lightweight and smooth. Easy to apply directly to your eyelid using the doe foot applicator they have a great pigmentation so you can build to your preferred colour intensity. I really appreciate that they don’t set immediately and allow plenty of time to blend. They blend effortlessly using both your fingers or a brush depending on you personal preference. The result is a soft focused smooth matte finish and even colour which once set won’t move, smudge or crease which is perfect! I am really impressed with how long wearing Liquid Silk is. The colour doesn’t fade and remains fresh looking throughout the day.

Lisa always adds in skincare benefits and these are noticeable in my eyelids not feeling dry after use and how smooth and comfortable they feel throughout the day. We love a versatile product here and Liquid Silks are brilliant as a smoothing primer on the lid, a one and done eyeshadow or used together or with powder shadows to create endless looks. Irene is perfect for me as a one and done shadow which I’m reaching for daily. Elegant and effortless the Liquid Silks are a flattering and addition to any makeup collection.
