My Review
Vitamin C and my sensitive skin have a difficult relationship. I have tried many vitamin C’s with little success so naturally was hesitant when it came to the new C-Tetra Advanced. I am happy to say I have been proven wrong! It has a lovely light creamy-gel texture which feels soothing and absorbs easily without feeling greasy. My skin feels wonderfully smooth after use whilst also instantly looking brighter which is fantastic!
It layers brilliantly within my skincare routine. For best results I use after cleansing and a water based hydrating serum before then applying. I wait until it has fully absorbed before finishing with my moisturiser and SPF. This is recommended and I can confirm it works best for my skin this way. It also works as a brilliant smoothing base under my makeup which is an added bonus.
As my skin is sensitive to vitamin C I patch tested for over a week before a full application. I always fully recommend patch testing whenever trying a new product. It has caused no discomfort or reaction at all which is fantastic, especially for a 20% vitamin C. I comfortably can use it daily and love seeing the results with long term use. My skin tone is becoming more even and looking so much brighter which is great! If you are looking to brighten and strengthen your skin it is a great serum.
