Squeezing in one last summer collection before the seasons (officially) change and I’ve definitely saved one of the best for last! The Lisa Eldridge Summer Collection this year is quite simply beautiful. Whether you enjoy a burst of colour of a subtle hint it covers every taste. The Lisa Eldridge Summer Collection is inspired by sandy sahara desert tones. Oozing elegance each comes in beautiful gold packaging which feels luxurious. The Eyeshadow Palette is slim and sturdy with a good sized mirror enclosed. I also appreciate the names and finishes of each shade on the back. The Rouge Experience Lipsticks are refillable and the component entirely recyclable. Once you have your Rouge Experience case, which can be personalised for that extra special touch the refills are available individually.

Desert Gleam Eyeshadow Palette
In a luxurious gold compact with an good sized mirror, Desert Gleam is a beautiful colour story inspired by desert sandy tones. The perfect balance of mattes, velvet and metallic finishes which makes it so versatile for endless looks. I’m no eyeshadow expert and love how easy they are to work with. Soft and buttery they blend incredibly easily and are easy to build which is fantastic. I really like the smoothing effect they have on my lids and how long wearing the colours are – no fading or creasing at all!
The shades are all easy to wear. Lisa always manages to create flattering shades which work where I don’t expect them to. Do not be afraid of colour! (I keep reminding myself!). The shades and finishes are:
- Dunes – a rich warm sand in a seamless matte finish
- Chrysina – a silver duo which shifts from warm to cool green silver in a luminous finish
- Acacia – a rich warm cocoa in a seamless matte finish
- Ablaze – a bronze gold in a metallic finish
- Sahara – a soft khaki in a velvet finish
- Firefly – a bright yellow gold in a metallic finish
What I find really useful are the easy to follow guides to recreate looks by Lisa herself. If I can follow them anyone can and they are great for some inspiration for everyday or a night out. Although this is the summer collection the shades can easily transition through to Autumn which is perfect!
Rouge Experience Lipsticks – new shades!
I love seeing the Rouge Experience shades growing and the three new shades are beautiful. A creamy dream they glide on effortlessly leaving a smooth and even colour. They are versatile and you can really play with the finish from a soft hint of colour using your fingers to gently dab. Or apply directly from the bullet for a richer and more vibrant finish. Hydrating and comfortable they keep my lips smooth and soft, perfect!
Although these are summer shades they really can be worn all year round. Lili has surprised me, such a fun and bright red which puts a smile on my face and extra bounce in my step. Toasted is perfect for the autumn trend currently popular on social media (although lets be honest we all have been wearing warm browns for years!). What I really love about the refills is that they come with caps to protect them. Mini lipsticks which can still easily be popped in your bag!
