Easily overlooked a primer can make a huge difference to your makeup base and increase it longevity. Not all primers are equal and Et Al recently added to their collection two new primers. I have been using the Radiant Primer for a couple of months now and have thoughts, keep reading for all the info!
When Et Al add to their makeup collection it is always a considered addition. They have a consciously curated range and the addition of their two new primers slot in perfectly. The Radiant Primer is joined by the Mattifying Primer which is great as no matter your skin type or finish preference one will work for you. As always they stay true to their name and have included skin protecting and benefitting ingredients in both formulas. They come packaged in elegant glass bottles with a dropper applicator.

The Radiant Primer has a lightweight silky serum texture which feels soothing and refreshing as soon as its applied. Quick absorbing it leaves my skin feeling smooth and soft and perfectly prepped for my makeup. As a result my makeup glides on easily which is great. I’ve used it alongside numerous bases and thanks to its lightweight texture have experienced no pilling which is a big plus. It has a soft blurring effect on my skin giving my complexion a more even appearance. Of course it also leaves my skin brighter and looking healthier!
It feels more like skincare which I really enjoy. I view it as a bonus skin treatment in my makeup routine giving my skin the hydration it needs whilst leaving it smooth and glowing. It is incredibly hydrating which helps to keep my makeup looking fresh and lasting all day which is no mean feat! As well as working brilliantly as a primer under the Et Al Radiant Foundation it is also beautiful worn alone leaving skin looking healthy and glowing. It has caused no irritation and feels a real skin comfort, relieving any dehydrated areas whilst calming redness. Lightweight but mighty it has really boosted my skin health alongside the wear of my makeup.
