So obviously when the new Blur Balms arrived on the scene I couldn’t resist giving them a try. Their first blush formula in three beautiful shades, keep reading for swatches and more.

Hildun Beauty are an Irish beauty brand founded by beauty writer Suzy Griffin Dunne. They are committed to high performing formulas which can easily be used by makeup artists and lovers without breaking the bank. The Blur Balms reflect this through their luxury compact which includes a useful mirror. They pop open easily to reveal a generous sized balm which comes in three beautiful shades. Each shade has been created to pair with the Hildun Beauty Lip Collection which I love.

Review
A good blush can bring your makeup to life. The Blur Balms has a soft, creamy mousse texture which feels lovely to touch and can be applied using both a brush or your fingers. It melts into the skin and blends so easily to leave an even flush of colour. If you prefer your blush to have more impact it builds easily from natural to more pop so you can really play around to get your perfect finish. I love how flattering it looks, it is so incredibly lightweight and melts into my skin leaving a skin like finish. True to their name they have a gorgeous soft blurring effect which disguises my pores and lifts my complexion. They layer well with my foundations and don’t interfere with them whilst also looking great worn alone.
Many of you will know I love a multi use product and the Blur Balm can also be used on your lips. A quick swipe with your finger leaves a pretty soft velvet finish which looks lovely worn alone or I often pair with my favourite Silk to Set Longwear Lip Pencil to give my lips some more definition. They wear well throughout the day leaving my cheeks with a fresh flush which I don’t find I need to top up. As expected I do top up my lip colour after lunch but this isn’t a deal breaker for me and the compact is so lightweight which is great for my handbag. Another gem from Hildun Beauty and I can’t wait to see their complexion collection grow!
