SPF is a staple in my skincare routine regardless of the season. Gone are the days of thick, sloppy and lets be honest uncomfortable creams. Sun protection now comes in a variety of textures to suit every skin type. Image Skincare recently launched their Prevention + Daily Matte Moisturiser SPF30 and it was the perfect time to add in to my routine. Keep reading for all the details!
The Prevention + Daily Matte SPF30 comes in a white tube with a squeeze top dispenser. It is lightweight and easy to pop in your bag for top ups throughout the day. It has a delicate citrus scent which I personally find refreshing, if you aren’t a fan of citrus scents it doesn’t linger.
What the Prevention+ Daily Matte Moisturiser SPF30 Promises:

- Will help to prime and prep the skin by absorbing excess oils whilst reducing shine and giving your skin a soft matte finish

The formula is free from common irritants including parabens, mineral oils and synthetic fragrances.
The Prevention+ Daily Matte Moisturiser feels luxurious and is lovely and light on my skin. It instantly moisturises without feeling oily or greasy and keeps my skin feeling fresh. It blends easily without leaving a white cast and gives my complexion a soft and healthy matte finish. Highly nourishing it leaves my skin feeling super soft and smooth, the perfect base pre makeup in the mornings. I recommend allowing a few minutes for it to fully absorb before applying your days makeup. This is a great option if you have oily skin as it calms and helps to balance oil production whilst its weightless formula allows your skin to breathe, it has been an essential for me this month!
Regular readers know I enjoy a multi-use product and love that I can use this in many ways. As a moisturiser it layers well with my existing skincare and gives my skin a hydrating boost. As an SPF it feels soothing and comfortable without causing any pilling. If you are looking for a balancing and hydrating daily SPF this will tick the boxes!
