Elf Camo Liquid Blush Review -

Blushes are certainly having their (well deserved) moment this year. Just when I thought all the new launches for the year were here Elf swooped in and released their collection of Camo Liquid Blushes. It instantly caught my attention, I have been waiting for an affordable liquid blush to hit the shelves. If you are looking for a new blush for the new year keep reading for all the info!

The Elf Camo Liquid Blushes come in a lightweight plastic tube with a doe foot applicator. The doe foot is soft and holds enough blush for easy application without needing to keep dipping back into the tube. There are nine shades in the collection from soft peaches, pretty pinks, vibrant corals and warm terracotta’s. I picked up Dusty Rose, a warm pink blush – see it in action here.

Incredibly pigmented a little is all I need to apply for a pretty flush of colour. A smooth fluid texture which is easy to blend using fingers or a brush. In minutes I have an even colour which doesn’t patch and felt effortless. It doesn’t set immediately and although richly pigmented blends to a natural finish. The doe foot feels soft and two dots per cheek is enough for my personal preference. It is easy to build the colour as desired from subtle to more impactful. Looking at the shade range I would recommend a light application the deeper the shades go to prevent over doing it. I love the natural dewy finish it leaves, a healthy lift for my tired complexion!

Layering beautifully on my foundation it doesn’t lift or disturb it which I was impressed with as I have experienced this with many liquid blushes. Once blended it remains in place and doesn’t settle into my pores or fine lines. It wears well through the day and feels comfortable on my skin, I did notice a slight fading however a pretty flush of colour was still visible at the end of the day. Dusty Rose is the second lightest shade, ideal for my fair toned skin it leaves the perfect pink tone. A fantastic blush which gives a beautiful dewy and natural colour and amazing value. It’s a keeper!
