What is the Trinny London Lip Reset?
- A transformative lip kit which will leave lips looking defined and glossy
- Each kit includes a Lip2Define Lip Liner and Sheer Joy Lip Oil. There are 10 flattering shade options which have been matched for ease.
- The Sheer Joy Lip Oil will give lips a sheer hint of a colour with a glossy finish without feeling sticky. Including Pro-Collagen Tripeptides to smooth fine lines alongside Portulaca Pilosa Extract which will double hydration. Giving lips long lasting hydration and a fuller, plumper feeling.
- The Lip2Define Lip Liner has a creamy texture which is long wearing, smudge proof and water proof. Including Castor Oil which gives it its creamy texture it is user friendly and will glide on with ease. They are richly pigmented to define and shape lips however you choose.

My Review
I’m always excited by a new lip launch and the new Lip Reset Kits have not disappointed. The Lip2Define Lip Liner, the first lip liner from Trinny London, is incredibly creamy and as a result glides on so easily without tugging at my lips. Leaving a smooth and even finish they have a rich pigment which leaves a beautiful even colour. Even better once set it lasts all day. I personally like to take my time when lining my lips and appreciate that it doesn’t dry down too quickly allowing plenty of time to shape and define. The finish is a soft matte which also looks beautiful worn as an all over lip colour. Thanks to its creamy texture it isn’t drying on my lips and feels comfortable.
I love a glossy lip but not the sticky, hair stuck to your mouth finish you often get. Sheer Joy hits that perfect balance between a gloss and an oil. It has a doe foot applicator which makes it so easy to apply. Thanks to its curved tip it hugs my lips and is almost effortless leaving a glossy pretty hint of colour. My lips look fuller, plumper and healthier which is just what I’m after. It has a soft cushion like feel once on and is incredibly comfortable. My lips are currently on the dry side and I could easily wear this all day. It always leaves them feeling softer and smoother which is great. It isn’t as long wearing as Lip2Define as expected but I personally don’t mind topping it up as it feels so comfortable.
Tips and Tricks
I was fortunate to attend a masterclass at Trinny London prior to the launch and picked up so many tricks to create the perfect lip. It was recommended with my lip shape to ensure I don’t line to my corners and soften the finish to create a fuller and more even lip. I have never tried this before and love the finish using this trick! For a longer wearing lip simply use the Lip2Define Lip Liner to fill in your entire lips. This creates a soft matte colour under Sheer Joy which will last all day.
Lip Reset has taken away the guess work of shade matching which is fantastic. If you are hoping to get any shade individually in the future I have been told they will be come available to buy separately at a later date.
