Now we are well and truly into the colder weather my skin needs so much more hydration and soothing. I want to indulge and slather my skin in rich creams to relieve it’s dryness and give it some much needed TLC! I was sent the Lavera Winter Love Body Butter to try, specially formulated for our skin for winter my dry skin could not wait to give it a go!
The Lavera Winter Love Body Butter comes in a winter white tub and is 100% organic. It contains lovely ingredients to nourish and soothe the skin including shea butter, cocoa butter and almond oil. This body butter promises to:
- Nourish the skin
- Protect the skin
- Leave the skin feeling smooth and soft
- Give the skin a healthy glow
- Is suitable for all skin types
The formula is a thick rich cream which feels luxurious to touch. It has a very sweet vanilla and almond scent which reminds me of vanilla lattes! (Yes I am a coffee addict!) I always feel scent is a personal preference and although I like sweet scents if you are not a sweet scent fan it may be a little overpowering for you. The scent fades after application and I find it smells more of almond once on my skin which I enjoy.
Although this yummy body butter is thick it spreads and absorbs easily when applied to my skin. Unlike some body butters I have used in the past it does not leave a greasy layer nor does it feel sticky, my skin drinks it up! I have been using Winter Love for three weeks and my skin is feeling soft and looking smooth, it has a slight luminosity to it which leaves a lovely healthy appearance, I can dream that I am in warmer climates! I have sensitive skin and the body butter has not caused any irritation including on my legs after shaving which can easily irritate at times, it is a lovely gentle formula.
Overall I am really enjoying the Winter Love Body Butter it is protecting and keeping my skin moisturised during this cold weather, the luminous finish is an added bonus!
Lavera Winter Bliss Body Butter (£10.90) is available from Pravera and retail stockists.
