Lavera recently launched their new reformulated haircare collection created to enhance our hairs natural beauty and shine. My hair is naturally fine (and lots of it!) and is fragile post partum. I was kindly gifted the Volume and Strength Shampoo and Conditioner from Lavera and couldn’t wait to see the effects it would have on my hair.

The shampoo and conditioner come packaged in eco-friendly plastic bottles which I love! The shampoo contains 250ml of product and the conditioner contains 200ml. The Volume and Strength range has been created to strengthen and nourish the hair, to gently cleanse and condition leaving hair soft and providing volume that is not weighed down by unnecessary product.
The formula consists of sustainable organic natural ingredients to be gentle and effective on our hair. The Volume and Strength shampoo and conditioner contains a unique formula of organic bamboo and quinoa to provide strength and lightly lift the hair whilst keeping it looking shiny and healthy.

I have been using the Volume and Strength shampoo and conditioner for six weeks. The shampoo lathers beautifully, a little goes a long way on my medium length hair and I have plenty of washes left to go! The conditioner is easy to distribute through my hair, I like to add some extra conditioner to my ends and wait a few minutes before rinsing as a quick mask for some added strength and protection. Both the shampoo and conditioner have a lovely light citrus scent which leaves my hair smelling fresh and clean. I have been able to go an extra day between hair washes which is always a win for me, I love that my hair is remaining fresher for longer! My hair is left feeling soft and smooth, it looks healthy with a bit more shine to it. I find I am loosing less hair through brushing with a reduction in tangles after washing.

I have noticed my hairs strength improving through continual use which I (and my hoover!) am really happy with. I have not experienced a hugely significant increase in volume, although I have gained some extra lift it is subtle and does make my hair appear slightly thicker and bouncy. I am really pleased with the results and the improved condition of my hair so far and will be continuing to use the Volume and Strength range.
In addition to Volume and Strength Lavera also launched the following as part of their haircare collection:
- Colour and Care
- Freshness and Balance
- Moisture and Care
- Expert Repair and Deep Care
- Gloss and Shine

It is a lovely refreshing scent! Thank you for reading
This sounds great! I’ve heard amazing things about Lavera cosmetics but I didn’t even know they did haircare. Mine has been struggling a bit since lockdown started (I have no idea why my hair has been suffering, seems random) but this sounds perfect for giving it a much needed boost right now x

These sound like products my mum would love as she has fine hair. Great review, I’m definitely going to be recommending them.
I am currently looking for something less harsh on my hair…this sounds perfect.
It is a lovely and gentle formula, thank you for reading!
I’m going to have to try that trick of leaving extra conditioner on the ends for a bit as a mask. My ends are not looking or feeling great right now.
If I don’t have time to mask properly I find it does help my ends hope it works for you, thank you for reading!
