I love it when I get a rare opportunity to care for my hair, to really enjoy a good pamper without two little helpers trying to assist! (maybe I should encourage this though!) Freshly Cosmetics kindly sent me their Nourishing Restore Hair Mask to try and I have been making the most of it the last few weeks especially with the weather taking its toll on it!

The Nourishing Restore Hair Mask comes packaged in yellow and black tube and promises to:
- Restore hairs natural shine
- Repair damaged hair
- Protect hair from pollutants
The mask contains seven non-greasy plant-derived oils including macadamia, avocado, argan, almond, karite, virgin chia and rosehip, all carefully selected and combined to nourish, protect and repair our hair. It is also silicon free which I love as I know it won’t irritate my sensitive skin.

The mask has a lovely thick cream texture, the formula feels rich and luxurious to touch and has a fruity citrus scent which is subtle and leaves my hair smelling fresh.
I like to apply a small amount to my hair. I have fine medium length hair and apply it to the bottom half of my hair avoiding my roots. I leave it on for five to ten minutes, ten minutes is my preference to let it soak in and do its magic before rinsing it off thoroughly. A little goes a long way and this tube will last me a long time!

I have been using the hair mask for a month now twice a week and can really see the benefits through continual use, my hair is feeling super soft and smooth. It looks healthy with a lovely bright shine to it. It feel feels nourished and for once in winter it has not become dry through the continual battering of the weather and central heating. My fine hair is prone to frizzing and has been behaving a lot better since I started using this mask which is making my mornings a lot easier! It smells fresh and good enough to eat (which my 10 month old does!). I love that it is 99% natural and free from nasties and irritants too! It has taken its place on my bathroom shelf and I will be continuing to use it as part of my haircare routine.
