Feminine And Elegant: Spotlight On Philosophy Fragrances

I love how a scent can evoke a memory, a light waft can send us back to a special time and place in an instant. I always say fragrance is personal, we all have individual tastes and that is what makes our favourite scents so unique and special. Two of my favourite Spring and Summer scents are by Philosophy – Amazing Grace and Amazing Grace Ballet Rose.

Review of Philosophy Fragrances

Award winning Amazing Grace is a feminine and clean fragrance. With beautiful citrus top notes of mandarin orange, grapefruit and bergamont, middle floral notes of freesia, jasmine and rose and a base note of musk. Once I spritz this on I immediately detect the gorgeous light citrus notes which settles into an elegant floral musk on my skin. The fragrance is not overpowering and the scent lasts for a good eight – ten hours on my skin, slightly less on my clothing. I first wore Amazing Grace after having my boys and it reminds me so much of our first summer together.

Philosophy Amazing Grace Fragrance

A lovely light feminine fragrance which I love to wear on warm Spring and Summer days, if you enjoy delicate floral fragrances with citrus top notes you will love Amazing Grace, a trusted classic in my collection.

Philosophy Amazing Grace Ballet Rose Perfume

Amazing Grace Ballet Rose is inspired by the quiet strength of a ballerina. It has top notes of rose and peony, middle notes of sparkling lychee and base notes of pink musk and woods. Immediately it takes me to Spring in bloom when I take in my first spritz and the rose bushes in my parents garden. It settles down to a long lasting floral woody musk, delicate and light I reach for it frequently in the warmer months.

A feminine and tasteful fragrance if you love elegant floral woody musk scents you will enjoy Amazing Grace Ballet Rose.

My everyday perfume

I find myself drawn to both fragrances throughout spring and summer, for me they are perfect for everyday wear. Although both have similar notes the variation of base notes gives them distinct scents recognisable in their own right. Feminine and fresh they are light but not underwhelming with soft base notes that I enjoy. I will be making new memories this summer to be taken back to in the future with each spritz.

  1. It is always nice to learn about different fragrances. Oooh! I love the more floral scents. You can’t go wrong with citrus notes too! I know I would love the Amazing Grace Ballet Rose. They’re not expensive either – love the pricing. Thanks for sharing! Have a great weekend xx

  2. I love woody musky scents so Ballet Rose sounds like it would be the one for me. My favourite scents are always a little heavier and more autumn/ winter than spring/ summer. They’re fairly affordable too which is great x
