Post contains some PR* Items
Hand and nail care have always been important to me, even more so now with my hands needing more attention and care than ever. I was immediately drawn to Apothaka’s SOS collection for hand and nail care that I had to get the duo and see for myself if they were the tender loving care my hands were craving.
SOS Recovery Hand Cream*
The Apothoka SOS Recovery Hand Cream* comes in a beautiful amber plastic jar which feels wonderfully luxurious to hold. It can recycled or in my case will be reused. The SOS Recovery Hand Cream formula contains some gorgeous natural ingredients including:
- Organic Shea Butter to nourish the skin
- Provitamin B5, Comfrey and Myrrh to heal and repair the skin
- Glycerin to hydrate the skin
- Essential Oils for a beautiful scent (so comforting!)
The cream has a luxuriously rich texture, a little goes a long way and I do not require much for an even application. It is a beautiful smooth cream that instantly nourishes and soothes my dry sore hands. It absorbs quickly leaving my hands feeling super soft without leaving a sticky or greasy residue which I love! It is a beautiful gentle cream which has caused my skin no irritation and instantly gives my hands a much needed boost of hydration.
I like to apply a thicker layer on my hands in the evening to act as an overnight hand mask, it has really worked some magic! The condition of my hands have improved significantly since I began to use the SOS Recovery Hand Cream they are wonderfully soft and smooth which is no mean feat currently! It has a lovely subtle woody scent which I love, it feels comforting to me now. I now have two of these lovely hand creams to ensure it is always to hand when I need it!
SOS Recovery Nail & Cuticle Oil
The SOS Recovery Nail & Cuticle Oil comes in a beautiful amber glass tube carefully selected it is uv-filtered to keep the oil fresh for optimum effect. It has a rollerball application which I love for it convenience, I don’t have to worry about my little ones (or myself!) having an accident (they love my beauty products!). The formula contains:
- Organic Jojoba to nourish and restore
- Essential oils including lemon, lavender and myrrh for their healing and nourishing qualities
The oil feels luxurious and absorbs quickly. My nails are incredibly weak and I have noticed through continual use their condition improving, they are much stronger and breaking less. The oil is hydrating and leaves my nails looking and feeling healthy, they are growing in a better condition and I love it after all the breakages and flaking I had at the beginning of the year. I am not surprised it is award winning I love it!
Apothaka are cruelty free and vegan friendly using only the highest quality natural ingredients. I love that they have removed excess packaging where possible and batch make their products to ensure they are fresh to perform at their highest level.
The SOS Recovery Hand Cream (£24.00) and SOS Recover Nail and Cuticle Oil (£19.50) are available directly from Apothaka.

That looks like such a thick and luxurious cream. I hate hand creams that leave you feeling greasy so I’ll have to give this one a go!

These products sound gorgeous – I remember from my essential oils crash course how good myrrh is at healing. And the cuticle oil would be perfect for me, my gardener’s nails are always in a terrible state! Lovely review, thank you for sharing 🙂 Lisa x

Oo, I love that the hand cream has myrrh in it! I just finished my last tube of hand cream and will be making more soon, since I love to make my own, but the cuticle oil sounds lovely. I used to bite my nails and they still need care. 🙂
