Wunder2 Go Beyond Foundation Review

AD – Contains PR Samples

You all know I am a big fan of a natural makeup look, I like my skin to look like my skin with a more even and healthy finish and rarely go beyond a medium coverage. Wunder2 read our minds when they launched their Go Beyond Foundation this week, a complexion enhancing powder it ticked many of my boxes and I have been putting it through its paces!

Wunder2 Go Beyond Foundation

The Go Beyond Foundation comes packed in a sleek back compact which easily pops open to reveal a full sized mirror and foundation. It promises to even your skin tone whilst nourishing your skin with some added skincare benefits which you all know I love! The collection consists of five flexible shades which have been created to adapt to all skin tones, I have the shade light to share with you.

I love added skincare benefits in my makeup and the Go Beyond Foundation has some great complexion boosting ingredients including:

  • Avocado Oil -Full of vitamins and minerals it moisturises the skin and helps to improve your skins elasticity
  • Vita Rose Active – Will reduce the appearance of pores and help to protect and repair your skin
  • Phytosqualene – Boosts your skins hydration helping it to appear more smooth and supple

The formula is free from talc, parabens and fragrance.

I am not often a powder foundation user and instantly loved how weightless the Go Beyond Foundation felt on my skin, a lovely finely milled powder which is soft and lightweight allowing my skin to breathe which I am here for! It picks up easily onto my brush (I use a kabuki brush to apply) and blends into my skin with very little effort building easily from a sheer to light finish. It instantly gives my complexion that much loved lift I am always seeking, evening my skin tone and reducing the appearance of my redness whilst giving a subtle hint of radiance. I love how quickly I can achieve a natural luminous finish, the kind which will keep everyone guessing if you are wearing makeup!

The powder is so fine it feels like a second layer of skin, comfortable and light it did not settle into my pores and fine lines nor did it emphasise them which I was really impressed with. I love that it doesn’t not cause my skin to dry leaving it feeling soft and smooth, hydrating and long lasting it keeps my skin looking fresh all day. I am currently in the fair/light shade range of my regular foundations and found the shade light worked perfectly, I was concerned it could be too warm however it adapted to my skin tone and looked natural. If you are a regular reader you know I love a multiuse product and I have also used the Go Beyond Foundation over my regular foundation as a finishing powder and it worked beautifully!

A natural luminous finish

I love how quickly I can look put together using the Go Beyond Foundation, it is my current go to for the nursery run dashes out of the door. If you are looking for a medium- heavy coverage this won’t be for you, however if you love a natural sheer-light finish which will even and enhance your skin tone this works beautifully. I have been converted back to powder foundations and can’t wait to use Go Beyond Foundation throughout the summer!

Wunder2 are cruelty free!
