Charlotte Tilbury Beautiful Skin Foundation Review -

It’s been some time since Charlotte Tilbury added to its foundation family and when I saw the new Beautiful Skin Foundation promising a glowing base with the added benefits of skincare, needless to say it had my attention immediately. Keep reading to find out about the new Beautiful Skin Foundation!

The Beautiful Skin Foundation comes in a recyclable tube – a first from Charlotte Tilbury! and of course is in the classic rose gold they are known for. It has a pump dispenser for hygienic and easy application. Available in 30 shades there is a shade to suit everyone catering for every undertone, even better each shade has been created to stretch to suit your complexion. A Foundation Finder is available on the website to assist in finding your perfect shade (more on that later!). I have shade 5 Neutral for light/medium skin with neutral olive undertones to share with you.

Foundation Finder

I very rarely use an online foundation finder and prefer to research the shade range before making my choice. However I took a leap of faith and used the Foundation Finder on the Charlotte Tilbury website which thankfully worked perfectly for me. I took photos in natural daylight over different days and was matched to the same shade each time, personally I am happy with the match.

Comparison to Light Wonder

Light Wonder is my staple Charlotte Tilbury foundation and with both having a luminous finish it’s the obvious comparative. Light Wonder has a more fluid consistency and lighter coverage, I personally think it also has a more dewier finish than Beautiful Skin.

Final Thoughts – Review

I always have high expectations when it comes to Charlotte Tilbury and the new Beautiful Skin Foundation has not disappointed. Feeling creamy and smooth on the skin it blends effortlessly within minutes giving my complexion a fresh and healthy lift. Immediately it evens my skin tone reducing and calming the appearance of my redness whilst smoothing over my dehydrated areas. Giving a beautiful skin like finish it doesn’t emphasise pores or texture which is always an essential. Versatile and buildable in the blink of an eye I can go from a light to medium coverage.

It’s lightweight and comfortable on the skin and I love the gorgeous natural radiant finish, I can happily pop this on in the morning and not feel the need to add anything else. It wears well throughout the day, it doesn’t move nor do I need to touch it up. The added skincare benefits always lure me in and my skin immediately appears plumper and feels revived and hydrated. It appears less dull and tired after wear which is welcome during these colder months! I will continue to use to see if the appearance of my pigmentation improves over time. If you love a foundation that is light, hydrating and leaves a glowing your skin but better finish then you will love the Beautiful Skin Foundation, I haven’t put it down!
