Erborian have added a new member to their popular Centella Asiatica Skincare family – the Centella Cleansing Balm! having heard amazing things about this skincare collection I was excited to try this new launch, if you love K-Beauty keep reading for more!
Packaged in a weighty white and red jar which pops open to reveal the rich balm texture, the balm is a companied by an essential spatula for that oh so important first scoop! The Centella Cleansing Balm promises to gently remove makeup and cleanse the skin whilst leaving your skin feeling soft, smooth and soothed.
Key Ingredients
Erborian never disappoint with their formulas and the Centella Cleansing Balm includes some Korean super ingredients including:
- Centella Asiatica Extract – helps to protect the skin barrier and soothe the skin
- Sunflower Oil – nourishes the skin
- Coconut Oil – moisturising and soothing helps to relieve dehydrated skin
- Beeswax – hydrates and calms the skin leaving it soft and smooth
- Sweet Almond Oil – nourishes the skin whilst improving skin tone
- Shea Butter – hydrates and softens the skin
The Centella Cleansing Balm is a pleasure to massage into my skin, a beautiful silky balm which emulsifies into a dreamy light milky fluid and melts away my makeup with ease including my stubborn mascaras. Luxurious to touch it is comfortable and soothing on my skin, causing no irritation the balm is gentle including around the delicate eye area. The balm is wonderfully emollient keeping my skin hydrated and nourished leaving it feeling clean, clear, baby soft and super smooth!
This isn’t one of those cleansing balms that leaves an unwanted greasy/oily residue and has me reaching immediately to re-cleanse my face, it removes as beautifully as it applies. I love its light refreshing scent which for me personally adds to the experience. Gentle and effective the Centella Cleansing Balm soothes and replenishes my dehydrated skin which is welcome in these winter months, I look forward to using it and to be honest some days my evening routine (escape!) can’t come quick enough! The Centella Cleansing Balm will compliment any skincare routine. It is safe to say I am a fan and will be exploring more of the collection!
