Encased in the classic leather effect black and rose gold Vieve packaging which feels luxuriously weighty the magnetic case pops open to reveal the embossed lipstick bullet enclosed. I love how handbag friendly the casing is, I don’t need to worry about any mishaps!
The original lipstick lineup launched with five neutral 90’s style shades ranging from warm to cool toned browns alongside matching Lip Definers – I haven’t put down Comin in Haute! The new shades are all as wearable and flattering with a romantic Spring feel:

As a fan of Vieves Modern Matte formula since the initial launch of their lipsticks its about time I share my thoughts with you! These mattes are a far cry from the flat and drying mattes we all avoid, if you love a creamy matte finish you will love this lipstick collection. Easy to apply and build the colour payoff is beautiful, these lipsticks are highly pigmented gliding on effortlessly leaving a smooth and even pop of colour on my lips without feathering or bleeding. Comfortable to wear it is long lasting and doesn’t separate or become patchy as the day goes on which is an essential! My lips are left feeling silky soft, the nourishing formula is the TLC our lips need with the bitter winter winds.
The delicious sweet scent of the Modern Matte lipsticks is addictive, I often find myself popping it open to enjoy! The new shade collection is perfect for fans of romantic and delicate wearable shades, Pinch will be my go to spring shade and Cherub’s Kiss is already making a regular appearance on my lips, such a beautiful soft pink with a real romantic feel.
