If you find creams feel too rich on your delicate under eye then a serum could be for you. Eye Serums are lighter and generally contain more actives making them a staple for many. The Scientia NOTOX Youth Boost Eye Serum with its golden hue captured my attention when it arrived. If you are after a gentle hardworking eye treatment this could be the answer, keep reading for more!

Scientia are a UK Skincare brand who are committed to creating supercharged skincare to boost our skins health and appearance,. The NOTOX Youth Boost Eye Serum comes packaged in a glass bottle with a feminine pink pump. The glass bottle showcases the honey coloured serum enclosed perfectly. The pump is easy to use and dispenses the perfect serum amount for application. Sustainability is at Scientia’s heart and the plastic pump can be taken apart for recycling with the exception of the spring which currently can not be recycled. They are looking to change this in the future which I will be keeping an eye out for!

What the Scientia NOTOX Youth Eye Serum Promises:

  • To lift, plump, firm, smooth and brighten the undereye
  • Will soothe and hydrate the skin
  • To reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, dark circles and puffiness
  • Cruelty free and vegan

Key Ingredients:

  • Amino-Acid Peptide Solution – plumps, firms and smooths the skin improving the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles
  • Bakuchiol – a gentle alternative to retinol it stimulates skin cell renewal whilst smoothing and evening the skins appearance
  • Ferulic Acid – protects the skin whilst improving skin tone
  • Starfruit Extract – rich in vitamin C and antioxidants it will brighten the skin
  • Hyaluronic Acid – hydrates and plumps the skin

Smooth and lightweight the Scientia NOTOX absorbs easily without feeling greasy. I really enjoy how soothing and refreshing it feels on my under eye as I gently pat it in. Immediately the golden drops brighten my under eye giving them a welcome lift and disguising any appearance of tiredness. It also works brilliantly at reducing puffiness in the morning and has a nice plumping effect -fab!

We all know the skincare golden rule that consistency is key, discolouration is my biggest challenge and overtime I have seen an improvement. My discolouration is reduced and my skin feels firmer and smoother. It layers brilliantly under makeup and if you enjoy adding an eye cream for some extra hydration it works beautifully. NOTOX does have a unique scent from the Ferulic Acid, which those sensitive to scents may find strong. It fades quickly and if you have used the Plumpex Cell Renewal Serum you will be familiar with the scent. This bottle lasts, I am almost four months and a way to go before it is empty! Another winner from Scientia!

£26.00 available from Scientia and Selfridges*.
