Marie Reynolds London recently added a new collection to their skincare. The Marie Reynolds London Superchargers, three skincare boosters to enhance your existing skincare routine. As a fan of Marie’s holistic approach to skincare I was excited to get them straight onto my skin. Keep reading to find out all the details.
Marie Reynolds is a skin and wellness expert whose carefully curated skincare collection draws on her experience and knowledge of the skin. The Superchargers collection includes three skin boosters, each created to target and treat specific skin concerns. Each one has been formulated with ingredients know for it skin benefits. As a result each Supercharger will work within and enhance your existing skincare routine.
What are the Marie Reynolds London Superchargers?
As mentioned there are three Superchargers in the collection:
- Ceramide Complex Supercharger
- Peptide Complex Supercharger
- Bakuchiol Complex Supercharger
Ceramide Complex Supercharger (£46.80)
My loves some Ceramides, they are a favourite of mine. An essential lipid which is naturally found in our skin, they work to help the skin retain moisture and protect it against external factors. The Supercharger is jam packed full of skin loving ingredients including Aloe Vera, Olive glycerides, squalane and marula oil it hydrates the skin whilst strengthening the skin barrier. Great for all skin types and concerns especially those with dry, sensitive and dehydrated skin.
A smooth and creamy serum it feels simply wonderful to apply and absorbs beautifully. I use it both morning and evening and love how smooth and soft my skin feels after. Incredibly gentle it soothes and relieves my redness and rosacea. I love how hydrating it is and it has quickly become an essential in my routine. One of my favourite ways to use is mixed with the Peptide Supercharger, the perfect skincare cocktail!
Peptide Complex Supercharger (£40.56)
A real skin hero, Peptides work to boost collagen production giving skin a healthy and smooth appearance. Burtsing with peptides including Tripeptide-1, Matrixyl 3000, Palmitoyl and Palmitoyl Tripeptide-7 to even skin tone whilst soothing and plumping the skin. This is a Supercharger which will benefit all skin types. I love to add this one to my moisturiser if short on time and it works a treat!
I think of it as the powerhouse of the Superchargers, a light fluid which works wonders. It absorbs beautifully and layers perfectly in my routine. A couple of drops goes a long way and I love the instant plumping effect it has on my skin. Continual use has helped to reduce my redness and give my skin a more even and smoother look which is simply fab. I use it in my morning routine with the Ceramide Complex Supercharger, the best start to the day!
Bakuchiol Complex Supercharger (£44.93)
Bakuchiol is natures retinol, a gentle alternative which is also pregnancy safe. Combined with squalane the Bakuchiol Complex Supercharger hydrates and protects the skin whilst reducing the appearance of discolouration, improving skin tone and increasing collagen production – phew! Suitable for all skin types is that it is safe to use both AM and PM, don’t forget that all important SPF after use.
I developed rosacea this year and have avoided actives since, the Bakuciol is a great alternative with impressive results. Gentle and calming, overtime my redness and pigmentation has reduced. A few drops is all I need and this is the final serum I use if I am layering, after my hydrating serum for the best results. An essential in my routine, I love the glow and lift it gives my skin.
All three Superchargers easily slotted into my routine, the only addition I ever make is a hydrating serum beforehand. Individually and combined they have significantly improved the appearance of my rosacea and dehydrated skin. They have also evened my skin tone and given my skin an overall healthier appearance. Gentle yet mighty they are all effective and I love having the option to select one based on my skins needs.
