Rain or shine SPF is a daily essential in all skincare routines. Thankfully formulas have changed and there are many more lightweight and comfortable SPFs available. Even better you don’t have to spend a fortune for a good quality SPF which won’t leave an unwanted white cast! In a lightweight tube the Vitamin C Daily UV Brightening Fluid is great for travel and popping in your handbag. It has a squeeze top nozzle applicator which is easy to use and a light hand is all you need to get enough for a full application (don’t forget your neck!).

I use SPF daily and have become quite fussy with the textures I enjoy, if it is going on my face everyday it needs to feel good. Lightweight fluids are my preference and the Daily UV Fluid ticks the box. A smooth fluid it applies easily and absorbs quickly leaving my skin with a healthy hint of glow. I love that it is hydrating enough to be worn alone yet also light enough to layer on my moisturiser without pilling. It leaves my skin soft and smooth and is a great under my makeup without compromising my base.
With a lovely light sweet citrus scent it is a far cry from the traditional SPF scents we all remember. If you are sensitive to scents and fragrance I recommend patch testing in store if possible. It feels gentle and refreshing on my skin and I have experienced no irritation including around my eyes. There is no trace of a white cast or sticky residue and it leaves my skin looking and feeling great. I will be continuing to use to see if my discolouration improves, consistency as we know is always key. I will absolutely be repurchasing once empty, it is a great affordable SPF which feels comfortable whilst keeping my skin healthy and protected.
