An skin health essential in every skincare routine is your moisturiser. Alongside cleansing it is a non negotiable to keep skin hydrated and comfortable. With so many to choose from for every skin type it’s hard to stand out in crowd. The Inkey List Bio-Active Ceramide Moisturiser managed to grab my attention and has been in my skincare routine for six weeks. Keep reading for my review!

Ceramides have been a bit of a buzz word this year in skincare, but you have probably been using them in your skincare for years. Ceramides are natural lipids, basically fats which are in our bodies. As we age they decrease due to many factors including sun damage. Including ceramides in your skincare is an easy way to improve overall skin health, boosting hydration whilst strengthening the skin barrier. The Bio-Active Complex in the moisturiser is exciting as it promises to work deeper in the skin to really boost the skin barrier!

What is the Inkey List Bio-Active Ceramide Moisturiser?
- A rich and velvety moisturiser which works to firm, plump and smooth the skin
- Reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles
- Works to both strengthen and protect the skin barrier
- An intensely hydrating moisturiser which also increases skin renewal
- Great for all skin types particularly dry and dehydrated skin
- Cruelty free

Key Ingredients:
- Bio-Active Ceramides – work deeper in the skin to reset, protect and strengthen
- Gransil Blur – gives the skin a soft focus appearance which disguises the appearance of fine lines
- Shea Butter – protects the skins moisture barrier whilst also deeply nourishing and soothing the skin

A rich and velvety smooth cream I was pleasantly surprised by how lovely and light it feels on my skin. Despite being rich it absorbs quickly, hydrating and nourishing my skin relieving the dehydrated tightness I’ve been experiencing through summer. Instantly my skin is softer and smoother which is fab. It layers brilliantly with my skincare products and leaves the smoothest base for makeup. A gentle moisturiser which is both soothing and calming relieving my rosacea discomfort which was a huge relief!

Overtime my it has revived my skin leaving it stronger and looking healthy and dewy. My skin is lovely and smooth and plump, disguising some of the fine lines which have started to appear. My redness also appears more even which has been an added bonus alongside my skin feeling the most hydrated it has in months! It is a sad empty which my skin is missing and at such an affordable price it is a moisturiser I will be replacing. If you are looking to improve your overall skin health you won’t be disappointed.
