What makes the Hydro Grip Gel Tint stand is its a first of its kind long wearing gel formula with buildable coverage. Inspired by the best selling Hydro Grip primer it comes packaged in a blue tube with a nozzle dispenser for easy application. You will only need a light hand as a little goes a long way. The tint comes in 15 flexible shades to suit all skin tones, I picked up shade 4 which is a good match for my fair/light skin.

Before and After wearing Milk Hydro Grip Gel Tint

I love a good tint and the Milk Hydro Grip Gel Tint has not disappointed. A lightweight tint which is a real skin enhancer, instantly it brightens and evens my skin giving a true your skin but better finish. The gel is a little thicker than I was expecting however I need not have worried as it blends easily. It has a pretty blurring effect which gives my skin a smoother and softer appearance. As a result it doesn’t settle into my pores or fine lines which is great. It can be applied using fingers or a brush, I prefer a brush but either way it looks beautiful!

My main area of concern is my redness and the tint quickly reduces its appearance. It is buildable and I add a little extra to those areas of redness where I feel that need it. What’s great is that it doesn’t ever look of feel heavy. It certainly lives up to the grip in its name, once settled into my skin it doesn’t move and the glow lasts well fading slightly after six hours but still evident. I don’t always feel the need to set it but I occasionally used a light powder on my tzone. If have oily skin I think you will want to set in place. The tint is hydrating and comfortable making it perfect for the warmer months ahead. Great if you are a fan of minimal makeup and love a radiant glow – I’m not sharing!
