The Maximist Volumizing Phyto-Fibre Mascara comes in a sleek black tube. The packaging is made from post consumer recycled plastic with a plant based vegan brush enclosed. This is great to see and is line with Bareminerals eco friendly ethics.

Before and After Using Baremineral Maximist Mascara:

Highly pigmented the Bareminerals Maximist Mascara delivers instant impact in one swipe. The wand is lightweight and glides through my lashes with ease adding some serious volume. I love how evenly and smoothly it coats my lashes and the fuller, thicker appearance it gives them. If you love a real dramatic lash it is buildable to an intense finish, perfect for going day to night. I found the mascara dried down quite quickly, which personally I prefer although if you do choose to layer I wouldn’t leave it too long between coats.

The brush is quite large, if you do not enjoy large brushes you may find it difficult to use. It holds a lot of product which is great for achieving an even finish, however you may prefer to remove some excess if you want to tone the intensity down. I have been using the Maximist mascara for two months and the more I use it the more I love it. It is waterproof and I have experienced no smudging or flaking, once set it does not move from my lashes. It removes easily with my normal cleanser without any tugging or scrubbing needed which I was pleasantly surprised by.
