The Illuminating Enzyme Exfoliant joins the best selling Alpha-H exfoliant family and is a welcome addition. Their most gentle exfoliant yet it comes in a powder which you transform into a paste to gently buff your skin without causing irritation. Perfect and great timing for our summer months! It comes in a chic white bottle which you pour the powder from for easy application. You don’t need much for a full application and it has a really pleasant light berry scent.
What is the Alpha-H Illuminating Enzyme Polish?
- A gentle multi-use fine rice powder exfoliant which will refresh and decongest the skin leaving it feeling clean, refreshed, smoother and glowing. Overtime it will reduce the appearance of pores.
- Works to also cleanse and reduce excess oil, dirt, makeup and pollution whilst also protecting the skin barrier and reducing the appearance of redness
- Can also be used as a quick 60 second mini mask treatment for a deeper cleanse
- Gentle enough to be used daily or you can alternate it amongst your existing exfoliants

- Kaolin Clay – A natural white clay which works to decongest pores and absorb excess oil
- Collidial Oatmeal – Protects the skin barrier whilst also reducing the appearance of redness
- Rice Powder – A fine and soft powder which gently buffs the skin
- Native Rosella Flower – Rich in anti-oxidants it works to protect the skin against damage from environmental stressors
Whilst I love the Alpha-H Liquid Gold a more sensitive skin option appealed to my rosacea prone skin. A fine and soft powder which once wet gently lathers it feels comfortable to massage into my skin. Once a lather it feels incredibly smooth as opposed to grainy and feels so satisfying. It has become my go to during our recent heatwaves thanks to how much it soothing and calming it feels. My skin instantly feels softer and smoother after whilst also looking brighter which is always a bonus!
Easy to remove after use I also enjoy leaving it on for a quick mask for a deeper cleanse and exfoliant especially if my skin feels sweaty in the heat. It has slotted into my routine so easily, causing no irritation and quickly evening my skin which is fab. I introduced the Illuminating Enzyme Polish gradually, starting with every three days and now I enjoy daily or alternative days.
