If there is one thing you can guarantee you will find in my bag all year round its lipbalm. Summer or winter I use them daily and have made my way through quite a few over the years. Needless to say not all balms are the same and I was really excited when Reeson launched their new Glossing Balms recently. I have been wearing them since they arrived and have lots to share with you, keep reading for my review!
If there is one thing Reeson do brilliantly it is their hybrid formulas. Skincare focused without losing the performance and finish in their makeup their new launches always excite me. The Glossing Balms are no exception to this. Combining the best of both a gloss and balm to leave a gorgeous colour whilst nourishing and hydrating the lips is just what we need now the colder months are here. They come in a lightweight tube which opens to reveal the soft sponge applicator which is angled making it easy to get an even application. It comes in two universal shades – Dewy Nude and Dewy Rose.
What you need to know about the Reeson Glossing Balms:

- Squalane – deeply moisturises the lips whilst helping to protect against dryness. Leaves them feeling smooth and soft.
- Ceramide NP – support and strengthen the skin barrier helping to protect lips from dryness whilst preventing moisture loss. As a result lips feel smoother and healthier.
- Vitamin E – Soothes and conditions the lips whilst protecting against environmental stressors.

I love a glossy balm and the lip loving skincare included in the Glossing Balms formula alongside the beautiful shades had my attention. Spoiler I have not been disappointed! The sponge applicator works brilliantly and makes application easy. Simply apply light pressure to the tube to release the balm which glides on effortlessly. The sponge feels smooth and comfortable on my lips which is great as they were a little on the dry side. The Glossing Balm itself feels lightweight and cushiony on my lips. I love the glossy shine finish which makes my lips look fuller and healthier. It has a silky smooth texture which doesn’t feel sticky and keeps my lips feeling comfortable.
What I’ve really noticed is how moisturised my lips feel. I took them on a recent holiday where we experienced almost all the seasons. From warm sunshine to cold winds my lips felt soft and smooth at the end of each day. The more I wear them the more conditioned and nourished my lips feel which is great. Both shades are flattering and give my complexion a lift which is welcome during these colder months. They leave such a pretty tint of colour which is lovely alone or with a liner. Please though don’t ask me to pick a favourite because I can’t. The Reeson Glossing Balms act as a lip treatment without compromising on colour and finish. Yes they are remaining in my handbag
