Skin barrier support is top of many of our skincare needs lists. Alpha-H are best known for their glow giving skincare but cast your eye a bit further as you may have missed one of their recent releases. The new Firming Collagen Repair Cream launched last year and was quickly added into my skincare routine. I’ve used it for six weeks, keep reading to find out more!

The Firming Collagen Repair Cream sits in that skin barrier/moisturiser step perfecting. Packaged in the infamous minimalist Alpha-H white, it comes in a jar which has an airless pump to keep all the ingredients enclosed at its best. I also love this pump style to prevent waste!
What does the Alpha-H Firming Collagen Repair Cream do?

- Collagen Amino Acids – Increases hydration and elasticity whilst improving firmness resulting in reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles

- Centella Asiatica – a rich antioxidant which works to soothe irritation whilst repairing the skin
- Vitamin E – rich in anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties it helps to protect the skin from free radical damage
- Panthenol – increases skin moisture whilst soothing and reducing redness
The texture of the Alpha H Firming Collagen Repair Cream was an unexpected surprise. A silky light texture which works well in both my morning and evening routine. Its water-in-oil texture feels luxurious to apply, I really have been looking forward to using it. Instantly it has a soothing effect on my skin whilst it absorbs easily leaving my skin feeling smooth and soft to touch. Thanks to its light texture it works brilliantly alongside my other skincare products, layering well and slotting into my skincare routine with ease.
Despite being a light cream it is intensely hydrating and quickly relieved my dehydrated areas leaving them feeling comfortable. The more I use it the plumper and more hydrated my skin feels and as result my fine lines appearance has reduced. It has also improved and reduced my skin redness which is great and unexpected especially during the winter months. Richly nourishing it has revived my skin leaving it both feeling and looking healthy and glowing. It’s subtle vanilla scent adds the perfect touch. A cream which would work well all year round and really beneficial if your skin needs more hydration. It’s no surprise I’ve finished it!
