When Bareminerals launched new products as part of their Skinlongevity range I had to try them, I love the Vital Power Serum (on my 5th bottle!) which has worked miracles on my sensitive combination skin. I had high hopes and expectations for the Vital Power Moisturiser, which contains SPF30, it has a lot to live up to with my love for the serum!

The moisturiser comes in a beautiful gold bottle in keeping with the elegant packaging for this range. The bottle has a pump dispenser which I prefer as I often end up using too much product when popping my fingers in a jar (and saving it from little curious fingers wanting to eat it) The only downside to the packaging is that you are unable to see how much product is remaining in the bottle and therefore I have no idea when I am running low.

Vital Power Ingriedients
The Vital Power Moisturiser is full of skin loving ingredients:
- Botanical Long Life Herb – to protect against environmental stresses
- Green Coffee Bean and Peony Extract – to brighten the appearance of dull skin
- Mineral Based SPF – to protect from UVA and UVB rays

Did it live up to expectations?
The moisturiser is white in colour and initially feels quite a thick to touch, Despite being a thick cream I have found that it doesn’t feel heavy or greasy once on my skin. I find it is best applied by pumping the cream onto my hand and then rubbing my hands together to warm the cream before applying it to my face. I find this method of application helps the mineral based spf to absorb easier into my skin and not leave a white film that can take some work to sink in. After I have warmed the moisturiser it absorbs beautifully and spreads easily. I only require one pump to cover my face, as with all Bareminerals products a little goes a long way.
I have been using the Vital Power Moisturiser for two months and am really enjoying it. It smells beautiful and reminds me of being outside on a spring day, a lovely fresh scent from the peony extract. As this an SPF moisturiser I use this morning only for added protection during the day. Once I have applied the moisturiser my skin feels more hydrated and has a healthy glow (faking that wide awake slept well look again!). My skin feels lovely and soft and the Vital Power Moisturiser has taken its place next to my loved Vital Power Serum.

Thank you 😊
I love BareMinerals, they’re the only makeup brand I can use because of my sensitive skin. I’ll definitely have to check the moisturizer out.
