I do enjoy a bit of shimmer and sparkle, I love it more the older I get! Urban Decay recently launched their limited edition Stoned Vibes palette, a break away from the classic Naked collection the palette screams fun! I couldn’t wait to get some shimmer on my eyes!

Urban Decay Stoned Vibes Palette

Stoned Vibes comes beautifully packaged in a sturdy plastic case with eye catching crystallised stones on the lid, I love how they sparkle when they catch the light! The palette is light weight and pops open easily to reveal a full sized mirror and twelve stunning eyeshadows with a dual ended brush for easy application.

Vegan Dual Ended Brush

The palette consists of four matte shades and eight shimmer shades. The shimmer formula is unique containing particles of tourmaline to create a mood-shifting shimmer. The shimmers are beautiful to look at, I love that you can see the pressed crystals in the eyeshadow pans.

The swatches do not do these shades justice, they are beautiful and highly pigmented once on the eyes!

My Review

Stoned Vibes is all about fun and I love the colour story of the palette with something for everyone. I can create a beautiful subtle neutral shimmer or a vibrant pop of colour depending on my mood! The mattes are soft and blend beautifully with very little effort on my part. The shimmers are buildable making it easy to create a light or intense sparkle depending on your preference. I find they apply best using my finger and love that they have a little bounce in the pan! I recommend applying with a light hand as the shimmers are gorgeously pigmented and a little goes a long way. They reflect beautifully in the light without being blinding! For an intense look spritz your brush with setting spray before application, it gives a stunning foiled finish!

The formula is light and comfortable to wear, the shimmers are soft as opposed to chunky and leave a smooth finish of my lids, I love that they have not creased or emphasised any lines. The eyeshadows are all long lasting, I have experienced no fading or movement. The vegan formula is gentle and has caused my eyes no irritation.

Eight beautiful crystal shimmer shades

I have been using Stoned Vibes for two weeks and love how versatile the palette is with so many options to create different looks. I enjoy a hint of shimmer during the day and love using Tigers Eye, Meditate and Vibes for an eye catching hint of sparkle above my mask. Now we are in the colder months I am loving brightening up my daily look with these shades they are perfect for the holidays and everyday wear, Stoned Vibes has not disappointed! Who says you can’t wear a pop of sparkle during the day!?

Urban Decay are cruelty free and Stoned Vibes is vegan friendly!

The Stoned Vibes Eyeshadow Palette (£46.00) is available from Urban Decay, John Lewis*, Cult Beauty* and retail stockists.
