Review

I immediately had high hopes for the Day Dissolve Cleansing Balm after reading it promises not to leave an oily residue, that feeling of needing to clean my face again after cleansing is not one I am a fan of. The balm has a lovely light consistency which melts easily into my skin transforming into a milky fluid which is refreshing and soothing. It removes my makeup with very little effort on my part dissolving my stubborn mascara and daily makeup with ease, no excess scrubbing required! It leaves my skin feeling soft and smooth without an oily residue in sight which obviously put a big smile on my face!

I have experienced no irritation and found Day Dissolve comfortable to use, I admit I was concerned the eucalyptus could affect my sensitive eyes and was happy to be proven wrong! It does have a strong scent of eucalyptus, scent is a personal preference and I personally enjoy it and love the added benefit of it relieving my hayfever at the end of the day! If you are not a fan of the scent of eucalyptus this may not be for you. Has the Day Dissolve Cleansing Balm made it to the few cleansing balms fortunate enough to be gracing my skincare shelf? Absolutely! It is my perfect end of the day first cleanse and has fitted into my skincare routine with ease, the pretty pink packaging is an added bonus!

The Day Dissolve Cleansing Balm (£9.50 19g/£16.50 67g) is available from Versed*, Cult Beauty*, Boots and Target*
