If I am short for time one of the few products I will grab to pop on is blush, I love the instant brightening effect the perfect blush can have and make me feel a bit more polished and put together. When the Powder Blush from Diego Dalla Palma arrived I quickly grabbed my brush to see if they would work some magic.
The Powder Blush comes in a sleek white compact which is lightweight and pops open to reveal a mirror and mini blush brush which is super soft and fab for on the go. A skin loving formula it contains Vitamins A and E to protect and boost skin health, you know I love added skincare benefits in my makeup! The Powder Blush includes micronised powders for a soft, silky and smooth finish. They are available in a variety of shades with the choice of a matte or satin finish. I have shades No 2 – a peach satin and No 14 – a strawberry pink satin, to share with you.

The Powder Blush is finely milled blending effortlessly leaving a smooth and even finish in seconds. It is highly pigmented and a light hand is all you need to get a pretty natural hint of flush, if you prefer a bit more pop it builds up easily and quickly. It doesn’t gather in my fine lines or emphasise my pores which is an essential for me! The pan is a great size and perfect to dip my full sized blush brush into, I love the mirror it is a fab size making a quick application easy peasy!

I have used on top of foundation which it layers on beautifully without causing disruption to my base, it also leaves a gorgeous finish on bare skin giving me the lift I need on those short of time mornings. I love how long lasting the colour is, I rarely set it and have a pretty pop of colour still after 8 hours with no need to top up. I love the instant lift and luminous finish one swift swipe gives me, both shades look natural which is my preference for an effortless everyday look. A beautiful gentle formula which I have used on my eyes for an easy monochrome look and have experienced no irritation. I haven’t put the Powder Blushes down and they have quickly become my summer go to!
