“Arkive is a reflection of the role our head plays in how we feel about ourselves”
Adam Reed, Founder of Arkive
Haircare is personal, just like our skin we all have different types and needs. I do enjoy a good hair treatment to help control my fine hair which has a life of it own! I have been fortunate to try three of Arkive Headcare’s best selling treatments, keep reading to find out more!

Who are Arkive Headcare?
Arkive Headcare was founded by celebrity hair stylist Adam Reed who drew on his years of experience and knowledge to create the collection. Launched initially in his salons Arkive was soon stocked in Boots and is now becoming available worldwide. I love that the products are accessible and inclusive, covering every hair need and type. They are also cruelty free and vegan friendly.

The Good Habit Hybrid Oil (£14.00)
The Good Habit Hybrid Oil has become my best habit this year! With key ingredients including Baobab Oil and Jojoba Oil to help add moisture to both scalp and hair and giving hair a shine. The oil is lightweight which my fine hair appreciates, it feels silky to apply and has a beautiful fresh scent. Best applied to damp hair before styling I have found it to be highly nourishing and protecting. I have been using it consistently since the start of the year and it has quickly become my favourite of the trio. It helps to manage my flyaway hair whilst leaving leaving it smooth and silky. When your hairdresser asks what you are using to keep your hair soft you know its a winner! I find three/four pumps works brilliantly on my mid length hair, an easy repurchase.

The Prologue Hair Primer (£13.00)
An essential for my fine hair, The Prologue Hair Primer is a heat activated protectant spray. Key ingredients include Baobab Oil and Baobab Protein to help increase moisture, hair strength and resilience. For best best results spray on damp hair before styling. It has a unique scent which is correctly described as “smell like no one elsie”. I love how smooth and silky my hair feels after styling. A light and weightless spray it works brilliantly at nourishing and strengthening my hair. I have noticed considerably less split ends and fly away hairs since I have been using and love how easy my hair is to tame. It keeps my hair hydrated and looking healthy and shiny, a great heat protectant spray!

All Together Now Co Cleanse (£13.00)
Recommended for all hair types it promises to to clarify and control your hairs natural pattern. A treatment which I used in place of shampoo it has a rich creamy texture which feels lovely to massage into wet hair. I use a generous amount for best results and take time (and enjoy) massaging it into my hair and scalp. Do allow extra time for rinsing as I have found my hair can otherwise feel quite oily quickly. Key ingredients include nourishing Shea Butter and Aloe to soothe, hydrate and add shine. I have fine hair and a sensitive scalp and found the cleanser lightweight and comfortable. Overtime my hair and scalp do feel softer. Personally I prefer to use to refresh my hair in between washes. Sadly I haven’t noticed a huge change in my hairs appearance, however reading the rave reviews it does work fantastically for many!
