AD – Includes PR Samples and Affiliate Links* Please refer to my disclosure for more information

I love an eyeshadow palette I can rely on and don’t want to have to reach for numerous palettes to get the colours I want. When the Bareminerals Mineralist Eyeshadow Palette arrived I was intrigued. A selection of six pan palettes in a variety of shades, as a fan of the brand I had to give them a try. Keep reading for all the details!

The Mineralist Eyeshadow Palettes come in book design packaging, each resembling the colour story enclosed. They pop open easily to reveal the six eyeshadows enclosed. Bareminerals are committed to being better for the planet and this is reflected in their packaging. A plastic free palette made from recycled paper. In keeping with being plastic free the palette does not include a mirror, this isn’t a deal breaker for me. As a result it is lightweight but sturdy making it a great option for travel.

What the Bareminerals Mineralist Eyeshadow Palette Promise:

  • A nourishing formula including cold-pressed botanicals to help smooth the eyelid
  • The formula is free from common irritants including talc, parabens and synthetic fragrance

I have Rosewood and Burnished to share with you.

Swatches

Burnished is a beautiful combination of amber, warm peach and charcoal brown shades. It includes three luminous satin finish and three beautiful matte shades.

Swatches from top to bottom – Earth, Spark, Smoke, Candlelit, Heat and Smolder

Rosewood is a feminine collection of warm rose, pink and peach shades. With four velvet mattes and two luminous satin finishes.

Shades from top to bottom – Primrose, Wildflower, Sepia, Marigold, Burnt Rose and Blossom

With a shade story for every taste I found the Bareminerals Mineralist eyeshadow palettes very easy to use. The shadows are silky and smooth and blend easily leaving an even and crease free finish. They are beautifully pigmented and can be built from a subtle hint of colour to more impact depending on the look you are going for. The shadows pick up well with my brush. I always go light handed and experienced little fallout which I was happy with. They are elegant and flattering eyeshadows which leave my eye lids looking smoother which I was pleasantly surprised with!

The palettes are versatile, with a good balance of mattes and satins which when combined can create endless looks. I love a neutral look by day and add some smoke or more colour by night, it’s hard to go wrong. The shadows felt comfortable on my lids and the colour lasted all day without fading or moving. They are easy to remove with my normal cleanser and as you expect from Bareminerals are are extremely gentle. If you are looking for user friendly and wearable eyeshadows these are a fantastic option!
