The warmer months are on their way and that calls for a lighter coverage base. The Garnier Daily UV Fluid Glow SPF50 recently launched on the the scene, combining the best of both high sun protection and a subtle glow. Obviously I had to see for myself, lets dive in!
Packaged in a lightweight tube with a squeeze dispenser it is great to grab on the go. It has a squeeze tube dispenser which easily releases the SPF, do go light handed. If a glowing finish isn’t your cup of tea, Garnier launched an Invisible SPF which is also in the Vitamin C range alongside the Glow. Personally I love a hint of glow and it sounds perfect for summer!

During the warmer months I love a lighter base and minimal products, Sheer Glow is perfect for this! A lightweight fluid which applies easily, feeling more skincare like than SPF. It blends effortlessly and absorbs relatively quickly to leave my skin glowing and soft. My skin feels smooth as opposed to tacky and I appreciate its refreshing subtle citrus scent. If you had redness like myself it reduces its appearance and gives my complexion a more even appearance. The glow is soft and subtle and perfect for those mornings when you want a little boost without needing to apply too much product.
Worn alone or under makeup it layers well and is a great base for my foundation, without causing pilling. It is easy to reapply throughout the day without ever feeling too heavy or adding too much glow that skin appears greasy. My skin type is normal and dehydrated and the formula is highly hydrating. My skin can breathe and feels comfortable throughout the day whilst giving all important protection. Another added bonus is that it doesn’t cause my eyes any irritation which is rare. It comes in one shade and leans warm which is perfect for summer. It does blend out to sheer golden glow however fair skin tones may find it a tad too warm so do swatch if you can. If you are looking for a lightweight high protection SPF with a subtle tinted coverage this is a fantastic affordable option.
